RES-Q Registry of Stroke Care Quality

RES-Q Registry of Stroke Care Quality RES-Q is a global registry of Stroke care quality developed in 2016. we work in close collaboration with Angels initiative.

RES-Q is a global stroke registry to help hospitals improve quality of care & reduce the stroke burden by working together in close cooperation with WSO, ESO, AHA/ASA to drive continuous quality monitoring and make it a part of routine clinical practise Goal of RES-Q is to improve quality of stroke care and reduce the stroke burden by close cooperation and working together with World Stroke Organi

zation, European Stroke organization, American Stroke Association and many more, to drive continuous quality monitoring. Our mission is to make Quality monitoring as part of the routine clinical practice. RES-Q registry is currently used in > 94 countries across the continents. RES-Q provides a platform to the hospitals to measure and improve their stroke care systems and provides instant feedback on the key quality metrics

RES-Q has a standard data collection tool which captures all key metrics for quality improvement in stroke care. Hospitals registered on RES-Q and entering data get to see the feedback and analysis of all the key metrics through the dashboard, comparing with the country level data.

💙 Today, on International Nurses Day, we would like to thank all nurses for their dedication, professionalism, and essential role in patient care. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

🌍 International Nurses Day is celebrated every year on 12 May, the anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale — the founder of modern nursing and one of the pioneers of using data and evidence to improve healthcare quality. 📊

🧠 In stroke care, nurses are at the heart of quality. They are often the ones who ensure that care pathways work in practice — from acute treatment and monitoring to swallow screening, early rehabilitation, secondary prevention, patient education, and discharge preparation.

📈 At RES-Q, we believe that reliable data, meaningful dashboards, and clear indicators are essential for quality improvement. But it is the people who collect, use, and act on this information who turn data into better care for patients.

🙏 Thank you to all nurses who take care of stroke patients, support quality monitoring, and contribute to RES-Q. Your work helps turn data into better care.

💐 Happy International Nurses Day!

🌍 RES-Q Recognized in Latest AHA/ASA Stroke Guidelines

We are proud to share that the latest stroke guidelines from the American Heart Association / American Stroke Association explicitly reference RES-Q Registry of Stroke Care Quality as a tool for monitoring the quality of stroke care.

📊 The guidelines highlight that every stroke center should systematically track and evaluate its performance.

In this context, RES-Q is listed alongside leading national quality registries, such as Get With The Guidelines-Stroke, Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (UK), and the Australian Stroke Clinical Registry.

This recognition reinforces RES-Q as a key 🌐 global infrastructure supporting continuous quality improvement in stroke care.

🎉 We were proud to represent RES-Q at ESO EAST and the 11th Annual ESOC 2025 Meeting in Helsinki – Europe’s top event for progress in stroke care and research! 🧠🌍

📍 At booth G1, we presented the latest innovations from RES-Q and RES-Q+, including:

🔹 Discharge Report Composer – a tool that generates clear and standardized patient summaries using a rule-based (non-AI) method, ensuring consistency across stroke care documentation
🔹 A suite of evidence-based tools that support better decision-making, smarter data management, and benchmarking for stroke care improvement 📊🔧

💡 During the ESO EAST Meeting, Prof. Robert Mikulík and Hamzah Ziadeh introduced new RES-Q+ features – including a Virtual Assistant for Clinicians.
Hamzah also led a hands-on workshop showing how this tool helps analyze large datasets to support faster, smarter decisions in stroke care 💬

🙏 Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared feedback, and supported our mission. Your input helps us move stroke care forward! 🚀
