💧 Ohlédnutí za Světovým dnem vody
Světový den vody byl i letos příležitostí připomenout si význam vody v našem každodenním životě i potřebu její ochrany a udržitelného využívání.
K této příležitosti proběhla napříč Českou republikou řada dnů otevřených dveří – například na vodních elektrárnách společnosti ČEZ, v Lipce a na dalších zajímavých místech spojených s vodním hospodářstvím a vzděláváním.
Klastr CREA Hydro&Energy, z.s. se zapojil prezentací na dni otevřených dveří brněnské pobočky ČHMU (Český hydrometeorologický ústav), kde jsme měli možnost představit naše aktivity, projekty a spolupráci v oblasti vodního hospodářství a inovací.
Děkujeme všem organizátorům i návštěvníkům za inspirativní setkání a sdílení zkušeností.

💧 Looking back at World Water Day
World Water Day once again highlighted the importance of water in our daily lives and the need for its protection and sustainable management.
On this occasion, a number of open day events took place across the Czech Republic – for example at ČEZ, Lipka and other institutions connected to water management and education.
CREA Hydro&Energy cluster took part by presenting its activities at the open day of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, where we had the opportunity to showcase our projects and collaborations in water management and innovation.
We would like to thank all organizers and visitors for inspiring discussions and knowledge sharing.

Začátkem března proběhlo v Bruselu 170. plenární zasedání Evropského výboru regionů, které přineslo zásadní diskuze o budoucnosti evropských regionů – včetně tématu, které je pro nás v CREA Hydro&Energy, z.s. klíčové: vodní odolnosti 💧
Velmi nás těší aktivní zapojení Jihomoravského kraje, jehož zástupce Jan Zámečník - náměstek hejtmana Jihomoravského kraje během jednání zdůraznil potřebu investic do vodohospodářské infrastruktury i přírodě blízkých opatření. Právě tato témata dlouhodobě rezonují i v rámci našich aktivit a projektů.
Důležitým milníkem bylo také oficiální zahájení Aliance evropských regionů pro vodní odolnost, jejímž zakládajícím členem se Jihomoravský kraj stal. Tato iniciativa má potenciál významně posílit spolupráci mezi regiony, sdílení zkušeností i podporu inovací v oblasti hospodaření s vodou.
Evropská strategie pro vodní odolnost zároveň jasně potvrzuje směr, kterým se ubíráme i my – posilování odolnosti vůči suchu a klimatickým změnám, efektivní hospodaření s vodními zdroji a důraz na inovace a spolupráci napříč sektory.
Téma vody je dnes více než kdy jindy strategickou prioritou – a jsme rádi, že se mu na evropské úrovni dostává takové pozornosti.

At the beginning of March, the 170th plenary session of the European Committee of the Regions took place in Brussels, bringing forward key discussions on the future of European regions – including a topic that is highly relevant for us at CREA Hydro&Energy: water resilience 💧
We are pleased to see the active involvement of the South Moravian Region, represented by Jan Zámečník, who emphasized the importance of investments in water infrastructure as well as nature-based solutions. These priorities strongly align with the focus of our activities and projects.
An important milestone of the session was also the official launch of the EU Regions for Water Resilience Alliance, with the South Moravian Region among its founding members. This initiative has great potential to strengthen cooperation among regions, support innovation, and enhance knowledge sharing in water management.
At the same time, the European Water Resilience Strategy confirms the direction we are pursuing – strengthening resilience to drought and climate change, promoting sustainable water management, and fostering innovation and cross-sector collaboration.
Water is becoming an increasingly strategic priority – and we welcome the strong attention it is receiving at the European level.

Ve Strachotíně proběhlo setkání členů klastru CREA Hydro&Energy, z.s., které bylo věnováno prezentaci projektů, jež klastr v uplynulém období zastřešoval – ať už úspěšně dokončených, či aktuálně probíhajících.

Významným bodem programu byla závěrečná prezentace aktivit realizovaných v severní části iráckého Kurdistánu. Projekty představil pan Jaroslav Knotek, který koordinoval aktivity ve Strachotíně. Šlo o shrnutí výsledků a dopadů projektů, které jsou již úspěšně uzavřeny. Děkujeme všem, kteří se na jejich realizaci podíleli.

Součástí programu byla také prohlídka Muzea historie potápění, která nabídla zajímavý pohled na vývoj technologií.

Děkujeme všem členům za aktivní účast, sdílení zkušeností a inspirativní diskuzi.

The CREA Hydro&Energy cluster meeting took place in Strachotín, focusing on the presentation of projects the cluster has supported over the past period – both successfully completed and currently ongoing initiatives.

A key highlight of the program was the final presentation of activities carried out in the northern part of Iraqi Kurdistan. The projects were presented by Mr. Jaroslav Knotek, who coordinated the activities in Strachotín. This session provided a comprehensive overview of the outcomes and impacts of the projects, which have now been successfully completed. Our sincere thanks go to everyone involved in their implementation.

The program also included a visit to the Museum of Diving History, offering an inspiring perspective on the evolution of water-related technologies.
