Two days ago, we posted beautiful little Persephone, and still not a single enquiry for adoption in Cyprus.

This is the part that always leaves us puzzled. When we promote puppies here in Cyprus, there is often very little interest. Yet when we find loving homes for them abroad, many people ask us, "Why are you sending puppies overseas when there are people who want them in Cyprus?"🤷‍♀️

So, where are all those people now?

We honestly couldn't ask for cuter puppies. Persephone's two brothers, Edward and Odysseas, are just as adorable, affectionate, and deserving of loving families. We expect all three puppies to grow to around 12–15 kg, making them a wonderful medium-sized companion.

These babies are ready to fill someone's life with love, laughter, and endless tail wags. All they need is a chance.

So, Cyprus, let's see if we can find Persephone, Edward, and Odysseas the homes they deserve right here on the island.

😢 UPDATE: A sad day has dawned for our sweet senior May. 😢💔

His body lost the battle with the infection, even though his heart wanted so much to live. We fought hard for May, and we truly believed, just like May did, that he would make it. But today, the infection won the battle. 😢

Rest in peace, our baby. You know how much all of us loved you, and how much your foster mum Rochelle loved you. We hope you will forgive us that we couldn't do anything more to save you. We are broken. 😞💔

Thank you to all the people who donated, supported, and prayed for our May. We are so grateful for every one of you.

We would really appreciate any help to cover the cost of May's clinic bill.

We are raising money to pay May’s vet bills. May’s story is one of the most heartbreaking we have ever encountered. 💔💔
After he was hit by a car, the people who had been looking for him on Facebook removed their post as soon as they learned that he needed urgent surgery. In a brief exchange of messages, they claimed that he was just a stray dog they had been feeding, or perhaps it was not even him. 😢

According to the veterinary report, May, an 11 y.o. dog, arrived at the clinic with a significant delay after a suspected road traffic accident. He was in severe pain and had no deep pain perception in his hind limbs from the outset, indicating a devastating spinal cord injury.
May underwent two surgeries, but sadly, at his age, the damage was too severe, he will never walk again. 😢
To make matters worse, he has developed a severe infection at the fracture site, and his life remains in danger. 😔😔
May received the best possible veterinary care and is now being fostered at MoonAcre Sanctuary and Rehabilitation Centre. There, he is surrounded by love, comfort, and dedicated care, probably more than he has ever known in his life. He smiles, he loves people and his soft toys. 🙏🙏
If he survives this infection and continues to recover, he will eventually receive a wheelchair and possibly a back brace to help him live as comfortably as possible.
His will to live is incredibly strong, and despite everything he has endured, he is still smiling. Please help us cover May’s outstanding veterinary bills of €1,143 and give him the chance to continue fighting. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and help us provide the care he desperately needs. 🙏🙏

📢 Your attention please: Persephone is looking for a home in Cyprus, as we need to find her a loving family as soon as possible.

Born on 12.04.26 to a stray mother who had been roaming the neighbourhood and would not allow people to approach her. A kind woman gave her a safe place in her garden, where she gave birth to her puppies.

Persephone is a true drama queen and loves being the centre of attention. Whether it's a photo shoot, a vaccination, or simply everyday life, everything becomes a performance. She can let out the most dramatic cries or throw herself onto her back with her paws in the air as if starring in her own soap opera.

With Persephone, every moment is a show, and she makes sure nobody misses it.

This very sweet male dog is at the municipal pound. We gave him the name Mars. He is a young, very loving dog with a calm character. He stayed at the pound for 2 weeks, hoping that his owner would come to claim him, but it seems that abandoning dogs has become a hobby in Cyprus. 😡

The little one has an ear infection and wounds on his body, but in general he is healthy. He is currently receiving treatment for his ear infection.

We have started receiving applications for Mars. Please contact us if you are interested. 🙏

Can anyone help us with a short-term foster for some beautiful puppies? We need a foster until the 1st of August, when some of them will fly to their forever homes.

If you can foster one or two of them, please send us a message. They were born in the garden of a wonderful lady from a very shy stray dog.

Please, it will only be for a short time, and we can help the foster lady, who is indeed very tired after raising 8 puppies. 🙏🙏

What can we say and write? 😔

One of the pounds we support is more than overcrowded, and this very scared puppy was found in Germasogeia village in Limassol and brought to the pound. 💔

We don't think anyone is looking for him, but just for the record, we are asking if anyone knows who he belongs to.

He is a male, without a microchip, and is currently in an overcrowded municipal pound.

Please help us by applying to foster or adopt one of the dogs in the pound and help us empty some cages. 🙏🙏

🆘 ‼️Urgent: this is the last plea for help for Bailey before he returns to the municipal pound after having lived for 6 months in a foster home. 😢

The foster home urgently needs to take in another dog from the pound who has serious medical issues and requires a lot of care. Unfortunately, this means Bailey has to go back.

And it's unfair, because Bailey is a dog with absolutely no issues. Nobody has ever shown the slightest interest in him. He is people-friendly, dog-friendly, cat-friendly, healthy, and young. What is it that people do not like about him? 💔💔

We are looking not only for a forever home but also for a foster home, so please reach out if you can help.

A message from Felix 💙

I just want to say thank you for everything you did for me to enable me to get to England. I am settling in really well over here and I really like it. I am training my two humans and have them wrapped around my little paw. I have a new friend called Bobby who is very shy but everyday he is improving a little bit. He does not like me barging him with my shoulders full pelt and knocking him over and inciting him to play with me, but he will eventually come round and be my new playmate. We already hunt and chase rabbits together which is great fun. They had silly rules in this house like no dogs on furniture or beds, but I soon knocked that on the head and can sleep on the sofa or the bed, as I think fit. I have free run of the house now so I can do what I like. In fact, I do what I like most of the time. I am enjoying travelling in the car and the last couple of days we have been to the local playing fields and I have been in and out of the river. I love water. I still have my harness on because I won't come back so I have got to learn to behave myself before I can have real fun. I cannot wait to go to the beach. I am tolerating the horses but can't say I like them much, so everyday I poo in their stables. I think that is really funny. I am doing really well at training classes and I was the star last week. I finished my course this Saturday and I will then Go up to the next class where we learn more advanced things. They think I will be very good at dog agility. I can already go through tunnels and jump onto things now. Well I must go because we are now going around the field to Hunt rabbits as the horses are in their stables. I hope you're keeping well and it is not too hot for you. I like the weather over here as on the whole. It is much cooler. When it is very hot I have a fan on in the house so I can keep nice and cool. I hope you are keeping well.

Unfortunately, neither dog has a microchip.

They could possibly be siblings.

For a year and a half, we have been telling everyone that Charlie is one of the most wonderful dogs at the pound. A big teddy bear with a heart full of love and wisdom, he has patiently waited while people scrolled past his posts without giving him a chance.

Then our volunteer Paula stepped in and offered to foster him, giving us the opportunity to show everyone what we have been saying all along: Charlie is a dream dog. 💙

Charlie is around 4 years old, healthy, sweet, gentle, playful, and incredibly well-mannered. He is respectful in the home, gets along well with other dogs, and has adapted beautifully to family life. He appreciates every moment of comfort, affection, and security that a home provides.

But fostering is only temporary. Paula's home needs to remain available for other dogs in need, which means Charlie is still looking for his forever family. 🙏🙏

Please take a moment to look beyond the photos and see the amazing dog Charlie truly is. He deserves a loving home of his own, a place where he can finally stop waiting and start living the life he has always deserved.

If you are looking for a loyal, gentle, and loving companion, Charlie might just be the perfect match. 💙
