How can architecture and urbanism contribute to the protection and restoration of bird habitats in the Cypriot coastal urban landscape?๐ŸŒŠ

As part of the Coastal Urban Futures project, the team invited Antaia Christou and Christos Nikiforou from BirdLife Cyprus to lead a workshop introducing students to the rich avian biodiversity of Cyprus, the ecological needs of coastal and migratory birds, and the threats they face in rapidly transforming landscapes.

Featuring the premiere of Wild Water Country (Vadvรญzorszรกg) and the ceramic works of Zsรณfia Szonja Illรฉs , the event celebrated years of collaboration between artists, researchers, local farmers, and the community.
