How can music help inspire the next generation of ocean protectors?

As part of the Blue Senses initiative at European Maritime Day, TIDAL ArtS supported artist Rebecca Katsaris in delivering Here Only Monachus, an experiential music workshop introducing children to the Mediterranean monk seal, one of the world’s rarest marine mammals.

🌊 Residency Project Spotlight: Living Archive of Water by Clara Jo

Living Archive of Water, hosted by CAA Contemporary Art Archipelago, explores water as a co-narrator of ecological memory and collective storytelling. Through moving image, underwater sound and participatory research, artist Clara Jo reflects on the past, present and future of life connected to the Baltic Sea.

How can architecture and urbanism contribute to the protection and restoration of bird habitats in the Cypriot coastal urban landscape?🌊

As part of the Coastal Urban Futures project, the team invited Antaia Christou and Christos Nikiforou from BirdLife Cyprus to lead a workshop introducing students to the rich avian biodiversity of Cyprus, the ecological needs of coastal and migratory birds, and the threats they face in rapidly transforming landscapes.

As the Lighthouse Projects come to a close, we're looking back on Floodforest's final event in Nagykörű, Hungary.🌿🌊

Featuring the premiere of Wild Water Country (Vadvízország) and the ceramic works of Zsófia Szonja Illés , the event celebrated years of collaboration between artists, researchers, local farmers, and the community.
