🚨 URGENT 🚨
BOTTLE FEEDERS NEEDED 🍼

We urgently need people who can help with bottle-feeding newborn and very young kittens. And please don’t worry if you have never bottle-fed a kitten before. If you are willing to learn, we are happy to show you exactly what to do and will support you with advice and guidance along the way. 🧡

Hand-raising a tiny kitten can be challenging, but it can also be an incredibly rewarding and beautiful experience, knowing that you are giving a little life a chance. 🥹🍼

⚠️ IMPORTANT ⚠️
We are currently under an ABSOLUTE INTAKE BAN.

We simply have no more space, helping hands, cages or capacity to take in additional kittens.

❗️PLEASE DO NOT TAKE HEALTHY KITTENS AWAY FROM THEIR MOTHER. ❗️

If you find tiny kittens and their mother is around, please leave them with her. Their mother is their best chance of survival!

🍼 If you can help, please get in touch.

🤞🏻 If you cannot foster yourself, please share this post. We desperately need your help.

A little reminder about what we do and why you see us in Oroklini & Pyla.

We are CopsCats, a registered charity focusing on TNR: Trap – Neuter – Return.

And the most important part is RETURN.

When we trap a stray cat in Oroklini or Pyla, the cat is taken to the veterinary clinic, Savvas Veterinary Clinic in Aradippou, where the neutering is carried out by the vet. Once the cat has recovered, we return that same cat with a clipped ear to the exact place where we found them.

We are not a shelter.
We are not collecting cats from the streets.
Our goal is not to remove cats from the villages, it is to prevent more kittens from being born into an already overwhelming situation.

Cyprus has an enormous street cat population. Every year, countless kittens are born outside, many of them facing hunger, disease, accidents, abuse and a very short life. By neutering the cats that are already living on the streets, we are working to reduce future litters and, ultimately, reduce suffering.

So if you see us out trapping, with our traps, our van and our CopsCats logo, please don’t assume the worst. We are there for a reason.

If you’re concerned about a particular cat, come and talk to us. Ask us directly. We are always happy to explain what we are doing.

We understand that people care about the cats in their neighbourhoods, we do too. That’s exactly why we are out there.

We Need Bottle Baby Foster Homes 🍼
We urgently need people who are willing to foster orphaned bottle-fed kittens. Previous experience is not required. We will provide guidance, explain everything you need to know and support you throughout the process.

At this point, we have reached our absolute capacity. We are no longer able to take in additional kittens, including those found in the areas where we carry out our TNR work, such as Oroklini and Pyla.

We know what this means. Without available foster homes, many of these kittens will not survive. It is a heartbreaking reality, but without enough helping hands, we simply cannot provide the care they need.

Every person who is able to foster even one bottle baby creates space for another kitten to receive a chance at life.

If you can help, please send us a message. If fostering is not possible for you, please share this post. Reaching the right person at the right time can save a life.

❗️Important Notice❗️

If you find an injured, sick or otherwise distressed animal, please take it directly to a local veterinarian.

There are several veterinary clinics on the island that are equipped to provide immediate medical care. Please do not bring injured or sick animals to CopsCats.

We no longer have a clinic and are therefore unable to provide emergency treatment or medical care.

Every minute can make a difference for an animal in need. Please don't lose precious time by bringing them to us first. The fastest way to help is to take them straight to a veterinarian.

Thank you for your understanding and for putting the animals' welfare first. 🧡
