September's schedule is just being finalised and will be with you soon, in the meantime don't forget that although some activities are on a summer break others are still ongoing. Still operating during August are:- Monday's Whist, Bridge on Tuesdays, Wednesday's Quiz and Bingo on Fridays. If you aren't sure, check the Calendar on the website www.phoenixpaphos.com - click on whichever day you are interested in and the information will load - including contact numbers if applicable. If it doesn't say 'summer break' then its still active (at least as far as I am aware!)

If you are feeling lazy with the heat you'll need plenty of time to prepare - it's now 2 weeks to go before our next Rolly-oke. Channel the heat and celebrate surviving the summer with Jim the Music Man - on Saturday 29th August.

Hi everyone, bad news but not unexpected.

The organizers are still willing but, with so many people away, ill or just too hot to want to take part, this week's Open Mic night is CANCELLED.

There's good news on the horizon though, make sure you keep your Thursday's free and watch this space regarding September's schedule - lots to look forward to!

Vacillate no longer - you can quiz and support England too. To accommodate the inevitable clash of loyalties for the English quizzers on Wednesday t' Committee have pronounced that for this week only (unless of course we need to do it again)...

"To ensure people can get home for the Argentina vs England match (starting at 10pm Cyprus time, the quiz will start at 7pm and will be complete by 9pm."

So you can have your cake/gavel & eat it too ."En -ger-land"

'Them & Us' from July 1st plus the amazing 'Grumpies' who grabbed the gavel from the jaws of defeat due to an amazing table round - apparently

Next event - Tina is back, with some cool summer songs - aren't we lucky! This time partnered with a newcomer to the club, John Booth. Note that there is an increase in food prices here too - but still only to €14 for your meal + entertainment.
You've got until Wednesday to book food ( if you can't make it to the club, to use the Yellow Events folder, give Jo a ring on 991 75 117 and she'll get your name down for you). If the menu isn't of your preferred dishes & you'd rather cater for yourself, you can still join us from 8 pm for the show, we'd love to see you - entry is only €7 so why not - after all we know that Tina's worth it! (+ the bar is open and we serve some of the cheapest drinks in town) !
