Last week, IMA Cyprus was pleased to join MMC- Mediterranean Management Center Ltd for an event introducing their programmes and upcoming initiatives.

A warm thank you to MMC for the invitation and for giving us the opportunity to be part of the event.

As Chair of IMA Cyprus, had the opportunity to introduce (Lucy Brazier OBE) and to speak about the significance of her accepting our invitation to come to Cyprus this November.

Lucy is internationally recognised for her contribution to the Management Support Profession, and her presence in Cyprus represents an important opportunity for Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants, Administrative Professionals and Management Support Professionals to hear directly from one of the profession’s leading voices.

Annita was joined by (Styliana Pontiki-Drege), National MarCom Officer of IMA Cyprus, and the event also provided a valuable opportunity to network, connect with professionals and strengthen existing relationships.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming Lucy to Cyprus and to continuing our collaboration with MMC at “Empowering Tomorrow’s Management Support Professionals 2026” on 12 November 2026.

Hello October! 🍂

A busy and exciting month lies ahead for IMA Cyprus, with opportunities to connect, learn, exchange ideas and strengthen our professional community.

October will take us from Women in Business & Beyond in Limassol, to our Afternoon Socials in Limassol and Nicosia, then on to Berlin for the IMA Global Conference & AGM, before we close the month with our “From Berlin to 2027” Working Meeting.

And there is plenty more to look forward to in November and December too!

Sometimes the best connections happen when there is no agenda. 💙

This month, IMA Cyprus tried something a little different with our Afternoon Socials in Limassol and Nicosia - informal get-togethers simply to catch up, chat and spend time together.

We may have forgotten to take the photos 😊, but perhaps that says something …. we were too busy chatting!

What made these afternoons successful was not the number of people around the table. It was the conversations: getting to know one another beyond our professional roles, sharing experiences from work and life, exchanging ideas, listening, laughing and strengthening genuine connections.

And, naturally, a few new ideas for IMA came out of the conversations too!

This is exactly the kind of community we want to continue building - one where there is space not only for professional development and formal events, but also for simply connecting as people.

So yes, the Afternoon Socials will continue – Stay Tuned!

More conversations, more connections and, next time, hopefully a few photos too! 💙

A very interesting morning at the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, our National Chair Annita Haralambous Eftekhar together with our Marketing and Communications Officer Styliana Pontiki-Drege , attended “Meet the Ambassador: Cyprus and Germany in a Changing World.”

The discussion around supply chain, security and recent international developments was a useful reminder of how closely today’s global changes are connected to the everyday realities of business.

And, as always, events like this are also about the people you meet, the conversations you start and the connections you continue to build.

Thank you to the organisers Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Επιμελητήριο Λεμεσού and Cyprus German Business Assoc. CBGA for bringing the business community together for an open and timely dialogue.

Our “Meet Our Members” series continues with Yianna Charalambous, Secretarial Officer – Faculty of Economics and Management at the Open University of Cyprus.

Yianna is a dynamic, highly organised and experienced professional with 34 years of experience in administrative and secretarial roles.

She has 14 years of professional experience in a law firm and 20 years at the Open University of Cyprus (OUC), where she has gained extensive experience in administrative, secretarial and organisational responsibilities.

At OUC, her roles included:- Personal Assistant to the Director
of Administration and Finance, Assistant Secretariat Officer in Human Resources, and Secretarial Officer at the Faculty of Economics and Management.

She is a responsible, professional and highly organised individual with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work effectively with staff and management at all levels. She demonstrates attention to detail, commitment to quality and adaptability in demanding professional environments.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an MBA.

Today, we are happy to introduce Marianna Prodromou Deligiannaki - Officer Administrator - Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences at the Open University of Cyprus.

Marianna has extensive experience in administrative and secretarial support. She has worked continuously at the Open University of Cyprus since 2004, progressing to the position of Administrative Officer.

She holds postgraduate degrees in Business Administration (MBA) and European Union Law, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Organisations.

Marianna has participated in European research projects and possesses strong organisational, administrative and communication skills.

She is recognised for her sense of responsibility, efficiency and adaptability. She has also successfully organised numerous events, overseeing their planning, coordination and implementation with professionalism and meticulous attention to detail.
