👉On Thursday 28th of April, we are co-organising, together with 6 other youth organisations, an online discussion on the role of youth and women in peace processes in Cyprus.
👉This is the 4th of a series of events, aimed at empowering and encouraging citizens island-wide and especially the youth to take an active role in the peace process.
The event is supported by UNFICYP

March is not just a usual month, it is a special month when all the women around the word celebrate.

In 1908, 15,000 female workers marched in New York City as they sought more humane working hours, better pay and the right to vote. Not so long time ago right...

The world was not as we know it right now and women did not have the opportunities we have today! It is a special day which we celebrate these 15,000 women that found the courage to march for gender equality, social equality and for so many other things that we have today.

Being a woman brings innumerable challenges like gender discrimination, gender pay gap, r**e, sexual harassment, dowry related problems, domestic violence.

We celebrate to remind the word what we accomplished and what we are fighting for, to show the next generations that they will have to fight to keep this accomplishments and to honour those who fought for it.

We are heroes and fighters. Happy women's day!!!
