Future Worlds Center has organized another international Training of Facilitators for Structured Democratic Dialogue.

Training SDD Facilitators in the honey production field
------------------------------------------------------
Future Worlds Center has organized another successful regional training of SDD Facilitators. The 19 participants were beekeepers, chamber of commerce actors, and stakeholders of rural development from Lebanon, Egypt, Palestine, Italy, and Cyprus. Their training began with 5 Zoom-hosted sessions during which they identified the obstacles that prevent them from engaging authentically their respective, regional, and relevant stakeholders in constructive and results-oriented dialogues. They used as Triggering Question: In the context of your work, what are obstacles that prevent efficient stakeholders’ dialogues? This final face-to-face training was hosted by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce between 28 and 29 of June 2022. The Triggering Question was: What are descriptors/characteristics of an ideal sustainable responsible development in our rural areas that secure prosperity for all local people?. The newly trained SDD Facilitators aspire to apply SDD to address and resolve challenges they face.
