STORYLIGHT is coming to you 🔥

Every story deserves the chance to be heard.

That idea sits at the heart of STORYLIGHT.

STORYLIGHT supports migrant women in building digital skills and using them to create and share their own stories.

Through workshops, learning resources and digital tools, participants can explore new ways to tell their stories, strengthen their digital skills and make their voices more visible.

But STORYLIGHT isn’t only for learners.

The project also supports adult educators, learning centres and community organisations with resources designed to create more inclusive learning experiences for migrant women.

Want to see what’s coming next?

Follow STORYLIGHT for updates on upcoming events, workshops and opportunities to get involved.

At Openlivinglab Days Conference 2026, Dr Stefania Savva, our Director of Research and Development, will present research from CivicDesign4HER ErasmusPlus project, on how Living Labs can create more meaningful pathways for migrant women to participate in civic life.

Migrant women can face multiple barriers to civic participation: limited access to information, language and communication barriers, under-representation, socio-cultural constraints and unequal power relations. But these barriers are rarely isolated.

That is why CivicDesign4HER explores a systemic co-creation approach through Living Labs, bringing migrant women and other local stakeholders together to:
EXPLORE civic challenges
REFRAME how they are understood
CREATE responses together
CATALYSE longer-term civic engagement
The Living Labs are designed as local learning environments where people can reflect, share perspectives, experiment with ideas and work towards change together.
