Lefkosia Youth Ballet

The Lefkosia Youth Ballet was established in 1999. It consists of young talented dancers ages 11-19 who wish to pursue a career in dance.

The aims of the Lefkosia Youth Ballet are:

1) To enhance the skills of young dancers and give them the opportunity to perform publicly.
2) To promote and assist young Cypriot dancers who wish to pursue their dance abroad. Special attention is given to helping dancers participate in international festivals and competitions, as well helping them locate and apply for scholarships abroad.
3) To enric

h the public’s knowledge and appreciation of dance
4) To broaden the skills and knowledge of LYB teachers through educational and other activities.
5) To encourage cooperation among cultural bodies and organizations both in Cyprus and abroad, with the aim of promoting the arts.
6) To raise the standard of the dancers’ skills. To develop a close-knit community in which members help each other with their common goals.
7) To familiarize the community with the Youth Ballet and their work.

✨ ITA ON TOUR – CYPRUS 2026✨

Dear Members,

We are delighted to announce the return of ITA ON TOUR – CYPRUS, taking place on 17–18 October 2026 in Nicosia!

This year, we are excited to welcome young dancers to another inspiring edition of ITA ON TOUR, offering them the opportunity to work with distinguished international teachers, explore different styles of dance, and further develop their technique, artistry and passion for dance.

The programme will include:

🩰 Ballet with Tania Fairbairn
✨ Contemporary Dance with Simone Donati

Participants will also have the opportunity to be considered for scholarships for international courses and events as well as official selection for the International Talent Award 2027 – Final.

Ενα μεγάλο μπράβο στα παιδιά της χορευτικής ομάδας του Lefkosia Youth Ballet που έλαβαν μέρος στον 19ο Παγκύπριο διαγωνισμό χορού που διεξάχθηκε στο Παττίχειο Δημοτικό Θέατρο στις 3, 4 & 5 Απριλίου.
