💫On 26 September in Beirut, Rotary District 2452 held its Membership & Public Image Seminar — a wonderful opportunity to exchange experience, ideas and practical approaches between Rotarians from across our District.

We are very proud that Rotary Clubs of Cyprus were represented by Peter Ashdjian and Olena Almazina, who actively contributed to this important seminar and shared their experience and ideas.

Today, Cyprus celebrates 66 years of independence! 🇨🇾

This is an important day for our country — a day of freedom, statehood, and pride in the journey Cyprus has made since 1960.

We, the Rotarians of Cyprus, are happy to live and work here, to be part of this beautiful country, and to contribute together to its development.

We wish Cyprus peace, unity, prosperity, and new opportunities. May our country continue to grow as a modern European state, strengthen its place in Europe, and successfully complete its path towards full integration into the Schengen Area.

🕊️ International Day of Peace — 21 September

Today, on the International Day of Peace, we are reminded how important peace is for every person, every family, and every community.

For Cyprus, peace holds a very special meaning. Our island knows how important it is to preserve dialogue, mutual respect, and the willingness to understand one another and come together.

Rotary Clubs of Cyprus bring together people from different cities, cultures, and traditions around shared values — friendship, cooperation, service to our communities, and peace. We believe that personal connections, joint projects, and the willingness to listen to one another create the foundation for a more peaceful future.

May Cyprus be an island where people come together rather than grow apart, where cooperation is stronger than differences, and where peace begins with each of us.

Peace begins with understanding, grows with compassion, and lasts through our actions.
