Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping the world of work, but how prepared does the HR profession feel to navigate that change?
The new HRxAI European Survey 2026 brings together insights from 327 HR professionals across 30 countries, exploring how AI is currently being approached across recruitment, talent management, governance, and HR decision-making.
The findings highlight a profession that is open to innovation, while also navigating important questions around:
β’ trust and transparency
β’ governance and accountability
β’ AI capability and training
β’ responsible implementation in HR practice
Among the key insights:
π 66% report no clear AI guidelines in their organisation
π 64% have received no formal AI training
π 89% believe accountability for HR decisions must remain human
π 60% do not currently use AI in talent management
Developed collaboratively with partner organisations across the European HR community, the survey is intended to support discussion, reflection, and practical learning as organisations continue to explore the role of AI in people management.
