We are pleased to announce that The Institute of Internal Auditors Cyprus and ISACA Cyprus Chapter co-organize a Virtual Seminar, to be held on Tuesday, 23 June 2026, from 15:00 to 17:00, online via ZOOM.
The seminar topic is “Current Digital & Regulatory Challenges” and will be conducted by the instructors Mr Constantinos Koumides and Mr Paschalis Pissarides.

A delegation from the Committee of Public and Wider Public Sector of the Cyprus Institute of Internal Auditors, together with the Institute's President Mr. Aristodemos Yiannakas recently had a constructive meeting with the Auditor General of the Republic.
The meeting focused on the promotion of internal audit in the public and wider public sector, its value to the public, current challenges, regulatory improvements and opportunities for enhanced cooperation between the Audit Office and internal audit professionals.

We would like to thank the Auditor General for his hospitality and open communication. We remain dedicated to establishing a strong framework for ongoing cooperation.

Instructor
Christopher has a Bachelor degree in Applied Accounting (BSc Hons) from the Oxford Brookes University, and a Master's degree in Corporate Risk & Security Management from the University of Southampton. He went on to become a Fellow Member of the ACCA, a Fellow of the ICAEW, and also a Certified Professional Forensic Accountant (CPFAcct) and member of the Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants (ICFA).
He has worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the UK and in Cyprus, before switching to a teaching career specialising in Audit and Management. He has been teaching ACCA and ICAEW courses since 2010, has provided numerous seminars in related fields, and also teaches Audit at the University of Cyprus. In 2021 he set up Vantage Professional Training that specialises in providing a selection of ACCA courses.
