This service provides free, personalized, one-on-one support to help women navigate challenges related to gender-based discrimination and access opportunities available to them.

Through this service, you will:
•Receive information about your rights and available support services in Cyprus
•Be referred to trusted organizations for health, legal, psychological, or social support
•Get guidance on accessing education, vocational training, and employment programs
•Talk to a trained professional in a safe, welcoming space in person or remotely

Support is available in multiple languages.

𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝.

The 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐬 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬 (𝐂𝐅𝐎) registers Filipino emigrants prior to their departure from the Philippines. These are individuals intending to stay long-term or permanently overseas, often migrating for family reunification, marriage, or skills-based opportunities.

Over the past decade, the CFO has registered 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝟕𝟎𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐬 leaving the country to settle abroad. Of these, 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝟒𝟐𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞, making up nearly 60% of the total. In contrast, male migrants account for only about 40%, at roughly 290,000. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝟔𝟖 𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬.

This s*x imbalance peaked in 2022, when women comprised more than 63% of all registered emigrants for that year. This highlights the increasingly prominent role of Filipino women in global migration.
