For the Interreg project SPEEDUP, this shows something important: small businesses are not standing still. With the right support, they can become more efficient, more sustainable and better prepared for the future.

Across Europe, the way we learn at home is changing 🌍
Repairing instead of replacing 🔧, reusing instead of wasting ♻️, creating instead of only consuming ✨ these are not just lifestyle choices. They are part of a growing European conversation about circular economy, digital skills, and stronger local communities 🤝
This is where the DIY Parents project comes in 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
Our Erasmus+ partnership is exploring how DIY and repair activities can become meaningful family learning moments, helping parents and children build practical skills 🛠️, environmental awareness 🌱, and healthier digital habits 💻 together.
In June, we are working on the project methodology, gathering insights from partner countries 🇪🇺 and looking at good practices that connect family education, sustainability, and digital tools.

Η συνεργασία μας στο πλαίσιο του Erasmus+ διερευνά πώς οι δραστηριότητες DIY και επισκευής μπορούν να γίνουν σημαντικές στιγμές οικογενειακής μάθησης, βοηθώντας γονείς και παιδιά να αναπτύξουν μαζί πρακτικές δεξιότητες 🛠️, περιβαλλοντική ευαισθητοποίηση 🌱 και πιο υγιείς ψηφιακές συνήθειες 💻.
Τον Ιούνιο, εργαζόμαστε πάνω στη μεθοδολογία του έργου, συλλέγοντας πληροφορίες από τις χώρες-εταίρους 🇪🇺 και εξετάζοντας βέλτιστες πρακτικές που ενσωματώνουν την οικογενειακή εκπαίδευση, τη βιωσιμότητα και τα ψηφιακά εργαλεία.

✨ The 1st transnational meeting of the DIY Parents project was successfully held in Poland! 🤝🌍
The project partners met to lay the groundwork for their collaboration and discuss the next steps for the smooth implementation of the project 🚀
During the meeting:
🛠️ the partners’ initial actions and responsibilities were defined
💡 the work packages and key objectives of the project were discussed
👨‍👩‍👧 ideas were exchanged regarding DIY learning, digital education, and the active participation of families

✨ Η 1η Διακρατική Συνάντηση του έργου DIY Parents πραγματοποιήθηκε με επιτυχία στην Πολωνία! 🤝🌍
Οι εταίροι του έργου συναντήθηκαν για να θέσουν τις βάσεις της συνεργασίας και να συζητήσουν τα επόμενα βήματα για την ομαλή υλοποίηση του έργου 🚀

What an inspiring day at the 5th FEMME FEST Cyprus ! 💜✨
We were proud to be part of this vibrant festival for a 3rd year, and to discuss European projects such as EmpowerHer, PLAY, SPEED-UP, and FOCUS Project, all designed to promote inclusion, participation, and equal opportunities through practical, community-based learning approaches. These initiatives support women, children, and professionals by providing tools that strengthen skills, confidence, and active engagement in society. 🤝📚
The festival created a meaningful space for dialogue, exchange, and collaboration among organisations, educators, and community members, allowing us to connect 🌍
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, shared their perspectives and experiences, and engaged with our work.
Together, we continue building pathways for learning, empowerment, and participation. 🌱

Μια όμορφη ημέρα στο 5ο Femme Fest Cyprus! 💜✨
Στις 26 Απριλίου, είχαμε τη χαρά να συμμετέχουμε σε αυτό το διαδραστικό φεστιβάλ και να παρουσιάσουμε ευρωπαϊκά έργα όπως τα EmpowerHer, PLAY, SPEED-UP και FOCUS, τα οποία προωθούν τη συμπερίληψη, τη συμμετοχή και τις ίσες ευκαιρίες μέσα από πρακτικές και βιωματικές προσεγγίσεις μάθησης. Οι πρωτοβουλίες αυτές στηρίζουν γυναίκες, παιδιά και επαγγελματίες, προσφέροντας εργαλεία που ενισχύουν δεξιότητες, αυτοπεποίθηση και ενεργό συμμετοχή στην κοινωνία. 🤝📚

🌍Strengthening inclusive education practices across Europe
During the LTTA meeting in Perugia, Italy:
🎮 Modules and materials developed within the FOCUS Project were presented
📚 Foreign language teachers were trained to use Digital Game-Based Learning (DGBL) and inclusive teaching methods
🎮 The focus was on supporting children aged 6–12 with learning difficulties
📚 The participating teachers were prepared to implement the tools in their classrooms and train other educators

🌍Ενίσχυση των πρακτικών της εκπαίδευσης χωρίς αποκλεισμούς σε όλη την Ευρώπη
Κατά τη διάρκεια της συνάντησης του LTTA στην Περούτζια της Ιταλίας:
🎮 Παρουσιάστηκαν ενότητες και υλικό που αναπτύχθηκαν στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος FOCUS
📚 Καθηγητές ξένων γλωσσών εκπαιδεύτηκαν στη χρήση της ψηφιακής μάθησης μέσω παιχνιδιών (DGBL) και μεθόδων διδασκαλίας χωρίς αποκλεισμούς
🎮 Έμφαση δόθηκε στην υποστήριξη παιδιών ηλικίας 6–12 ετών με μαθησιακές δυσκολίες
📚 Οι συμμετέχοντες προετοιμάστηκαν για να εφαρμόσουν τα εργαλεία στις τάξεις τους και να εκπαιδεύσουν άλλους εκπαιδευτικούς
