✨ Meet Our Soloist: Roksana Kwaśnikowska ✨

We are delighted to welcome acclaimed Polish violinist Roksana Kwaśnikowska as the featured soloist for A Summer Serenade, by Sistema Cyprus.

An award-winning performer, chamber musician and educator, Roksana has appeared on stages around the world, including two performances at Carnegie Hall, and has collaborated with leading orchestras such as the Warsaw Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra. She is also a recipient of Poland's prestigious Fryderyk Award for her solo album Rode. 24 Caprices for Solo Violin.

At the concert, Roksana will join the Sistema Cyprus Intermediate Orchestra, conducted by Sistema Cyprus Artistic Director Santiago Ossa Alzate, in a performance of Camille Saint-Saëns’ Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Op. 28. Bringing together an internationally acclaimed soloist and the next generation of young musicians, this collaboration embodies the mission of Sistema Cyprus: using music to inspire, connect, and empower young people through shared artistic experiences.

Μια βραδιά γεμάτη μουσική, ενέργεια και συγκίνηση έρχεται αυτό το καλοκαίρι από το Sistema Cyprus στο Δημοτικό Θέατρο Λευκωσίας / Nicosia Municipal Theatre.

Περισσότεροι από 160 νεαροί μουσικοί από τις πέντε ορχήστρες του οργανισμού ανεβαίνουν στη σκηνή για ένα πολυδιάστατο πρόγραμμα γεμάτο ένταση, χρώμα και συναίσθημα, υπό τη μουσική διεύθυνση του μαέστρου Santiago Ossa Alzate.

Είμαστε ιδιαίτερα χαρούμενοι που θα φιλοξενήσουμε τη διακεκριμένη βιολονίστρια Roksana Kwaśnikowska, το έργο Εισαγωγή και Ρόντο Καπριτσιόζο έργο 28 του Camille Saint-Saëns, μαζί με την ορχήστρα των Intermediates του Sistema Cyprus. ✨

Από Tchaikovsky μέχρι Charpentier, και με την παρουσίαση του έργου «Γιορτή – Застілля – Feast» του νεαρού Κύπριου συνθέτη Βόρι Σαρρή, η συναυλία υπόσχεται ένα μοναδικό μουσικό ταξίδι.

🎶 A Summer Serenade 🎶

An evening filled with music, energy, and emotion is coming this summer from Sistema Cyprus.

More than 160 young musicians from the organization’s five orchestras will take the stage in a vibrant and diverse program celebrating the joy of music and the power of collective expression, under the musical direction of maestro Santiago Ossa Alzate.

We are especially honoured to welcome distinguished violinist Roksana Kwaśnikowska, who will perform the Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso Op. 28 by Camille Saint-Saëns together with the Sistema Cyprus Intermediates Orchestra. ✨

From Tchaikovsky to Charpentier, and with a special performance of “Feast” by young Cypriot composer Voris Sarris, the concert promises a musical journey full of passion, colour, and inspiration.
