🚨 ΣΤΑΜΑΤΗΣΤΕ ΤΟ «ΣΥΜΒΟΥΛΙΟ ΕΙΡΗΝΗΣ ΓΙΑ ΤΗ ΓΑΖΑ» 🚨

Διαμαρτυρόμαστε για το λεγόμενο «Συμβούλιο Ειρήνης για τη Γάζα» (Gaza Board of Peace) που συνεδριάζει στην Κύπρο (30 Ιουνίου – 1 Ιουλίου). Το "Συμβούλιο" αυτό:

❌ Παραγκωνίζει τα Ηνωμένα Έθνη και υπονομεύει το διεθνές δίκαιο.

❌ Αποκλείει τους Παλαιστινίους από τη λήψη αποφάσεων για το μέλλον της δικής τους γης, ενώ το Ισραήλ, η κατοχική δύναμη, κατέχει θέση στο Συμβούλιο.

❌ Περισσότεροι από 1.000 Παλαιστίνιοι έχουν σκοτωθεί κατά τη διάρκεια της λεγόμενης εκεχειρίας. Η κατοχή και ο αποκλεισμός της Γάζας συνεχίζονται, ενώ οι βομβαρδισμοί, οι επιθέσεις, ο αναγκαστικός εκτοπισμός, η λιμοκτονία και η παρεμπόδιση της ανθρωπιστικής βοήθειας συνεχίζονται. Αυτό δεν είναι «ειρήνη».

❌ Τα σχέδια για τη «Ριβιέρα της Γάζας» βασίζονται στον εκτοπισμό και την εξόντωση των Παλαιστινίων, αντί στη δικαιοσύνη και την ανοικοδόμηση, δημιουργώντας ένα εξαιρετικά επικίνδυνο προηγούμενο για ολόκληρη την περιοχή.

Τα αιτήματά μας
🔹 Η Κυβέρνηση της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας πρέπει να αποσύρει την υποστήριξή της προς αυτό το παράνομο αυτό όργανο.
🔹 Η Κύπρος να υπερασπιστεί το διεθνές δίκαιο, τα ψηφίσματα των Ηνωμένων Εθνών και το δικαίωμα του παλαιστινιακού λαού στην αυτοδιάθεση.

🚨 STOP THE "GAZA BOARD OF PEACE" 🚨

We protest against the so-called "Gaza Board of Peace", which is meeting in Cyprus (30 June – 1 July). This "Board":

❌ Sidelines the United Nations and undermines international law.

❌ Excludes Palestinians from deciding their own future, while Israel, the occupying power, holds a seat on the Board.

❌ More than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed during the so-called ceasefire. The occupation and blockade of Gaza continue, while bombardments, attacks, forced displacement, starvation and the obstruction of humanitarian aid persist. This is not "peace."

❌ Plans for the "Gaza Riviera" are based on the displacement and annihilation of Palestinians rather than justice and reconstruction, setting a highly dangerous precedent for the entire region.

Our demands
🔹 The Government of the Republic of Cyprus must withdraw its support for this illegitimate body.
🔹 Cyprus must uphold international law, United Nations resolutions, and the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination.

The sound of genocide at City of Dreams

The City of Dreams casino is bringing Israeli singers Itay Levi and Lior Narkis—glorifiers of Israel's genocide in Gaza—to Limassol.

Specifically, Levi has toured with the organization "Friends of the IDF " and is the singer of the official anthem of the Occupation’s Kfir Brigade , whose deputy commander Ran Cohen had stated: "By the end of our mission, Beit Lahia (a city in Gaza) will be annihilated above and below the ground ." The Kfir brigade is also known for its "notoriously violent " Netzah Yehuda battalion, which has been repeatedly accused of serious violations of Palestinians' human rights .

Meanwhile, Narkis, who regularly tours Israeli military bases, has repeatedly been personally accused of using hate speech and incitement to genocide, having used racist and sexist slurs toward Gaza, while calling on the Israeli army to enter Gaza "and slaughter them alive, burn them," expressing at the same time his willingness to participate in such a massacre .

City of Dreams chooses to promote and identify with racist, sexist, and genocidal rhetoric by organizing concerts with singers who have directly supported and incited the bloody occupation and genocide perpetrated by Israel in Gaza.

We, the civil society organizations in Cyprus, refuse their presence in our country and call on City of Dreams to immediately cancel these concerts and to unequivocally repudiate the statements of the Israeli singers, as well as Israel's genocide in Gaza.

On that very same day, Israel’s candidate will be performing at the Eurovision semi-finals in Vienna. 78 years since the Nakba.
78 years of genocide, occupation, apartheid and ethnic cleansing.

In 1948, more than 750,000 Palestinians were expelled from their homes during the Nakba (“catastrophe”), and hundreds of villages were destroyed.

Today, millions of Palestinians continue to live under military occupation, siege, exile, dispossession, and systemic terror from Gaza, to occupied Palestinian territories and across the diaspora.

🗝️ As people mobilise across the world, we gather to honour the lives lost, stand with the resilience of the Palestinian people, and demand justice, accountability, the right of return, and an end to Israeli impunity.
