🚨 **EU Funding Opportunity | Fight Against Organised Crime & Trafficking**

The **European Commission** has launched a call for proposals to support projects tackling **organised crime, drug trafficking and trafficking in human beings** across the EU.

💶 **Budget:** €16.55 million
📅 **Deadline:** 3 September 2026
📍 **Call opened:** 21 May 2026

The call supports projects focusing on:
🔹 Improving intelligence on criminal networks
🔹 Facilitating cross-border and financial investigations
🔹 Preventing criminal infiltration
🔹 Dismantling organised criminal networks involved in human trafficking

The funding is open to **police and law enforcement authorities, civil society organisations, and other public and private bodies** working to combat organised crime.

The initiative contributes to the implementation of **ProtectEU, the EU Drugs Strategy and the Action Plan against Drug Trafficking**, as part of the **Internal Security Fund 2023–2027**.
