Στη φετινή Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Δασών με χαρά βλέπουμε την ολοένα και αυξανόμενη χρήση «παλιών αλλά νέων» μεθόδων διαχείρισης της δασικής βλάστησης.

Ιδιαίτερη μνεία κάνουμε και εκφράζουμε τα συγχαρητήρια μας για την πρόσφατη προδιαγεγραμμένη καύση που επιτέλεσε το Υπουργείο Γεωργίας, Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης και Περιβάλλοντος - Cyprus MOA και το Τμήμα Δασών στην περιοχή του Μαχαιρά, χρησιμοποιώντας τα πρωτόκολλα και τις πρόνοιες που προέκυψαν από αντίστοιχη δράση το Μάρτιο του 2025 στα πλαίσια του Ευρωπαϊκού Προγράμματος SEMEDFIRE που χρηματοδοτήθηκε από τον Ορίζοντα Ευρώπη.
