We sat down informally with representatives of the Cyprus Green Party — no agenda, no formalities. Just an honest conversation about what's not working on the island and what could be done differently.
We shared what ASTIN is building, including Shelter. The conversation was direct: real problems, concrete proposals, and a genuine interest in finding solutions that can move fast and be tracked by result.
These are the conversations that matter. Not press releases — just people at a table, deciding whether to work together.

This year, our team had a meaningful moment: an ASTIN representative attended the 30th anniversary celebration of the Cyprus Green Party, and had the chance to speak personally with the President of Cyprus.
We talked about the environment and sustainable development — and for Cyprus, this isn't an abstract topic. It's about real decisions being made right now, decisions that will shape the island for years to come.
ASTIN has been working on the ground since 2014 — reforestation, cleanups, animal welfare, and more. Moments like this remind us why it matters to keep showing up, not just with hands-on work, but in conversations that shape policy too.
Grateful to have a seat at that table, and to keep building partnerships that move Cyprus forward.

ASTIN is an international charity working from Cyprus. Around 50 volunteers from different countries run it — from emergency aid to reforestation to animal rescue.

We use technology to make charity more efficient and transparent, so you always see where your help goes.

One of our projects, with UNDP, reached over 2 million people.

Right now our focus is Shelter — animal welfare on Cyprus. More on it next.

Зеленая инфраструктура в действии: инвестируем в будущее Лимассола!
21 февраля 2026 года наша команда ASTIN присоединилась к классной городской инициативе по озеленению в Аматунте (район Потамос Гермасойя). И это было потрясающе!
Самым ценным было то, что наши волонтеры пришли целыми семьями, вместе с детьми. Искреннее участие чувствовалось в каждом движении - мы работали быстро, слаженно и с огромной любовью к месту, в котором живем.
Наш результат - более 100 новых деревьев! Это наша прямая инвестиция в качество жизни: в будущую тень, прохладные улицы и красивый зеленый горизонт Лимассола.
Отдельное спасибо организаторам за идеальную координацию: лопат, грабель и мотыг хватило всем, а забота о волонтерах чувствовалась на каждом этапе! Мероприятие поддержали мэр, муниципалитет, кандидаты от партии зеленых и местные СМИ.
Спасибо каждому из вас. Именно так, практической работой, а не просто словами, мы вместе создаем новую «зеленую» норму нашего города! 💪

That's ASTIN Organization — an international charitable foundation working from Cyprus since 2014.
Emergency aid, environmental cleanups, support for families and children, education, sport, animal rescue. Different causes, one goal: make charity efficient and transparent, so every supporter sees where the money goes.
We run several projects under one roof.
