YoungShip Cyprus YoungShip is a professional non-profit organisation for young people working within the global maritime industry.

YoungShip Cyprus was founded in 2012 as a branch of YoungShip International (Norway 2004) which is a non-profit organization in 17 cities around the world in countries such as Norway, Singapore, Brazil, Mexico, Italy, Sweden, Netherlands, United Emirates, Kenya and the United Kingdom. Young people up to the age of 40 who work in the wider field of shipping and maritime offshore industry have the opportunity to participate as members or as administration of the association.

Dear Members,

YoungShip Cyprus, in collaboration with the University of Limassol, is proud to continue supporting maritime professionals by offering 10 scholarships with a total value of €44,000 for the Master of Science in Shipping Operations and Management (Distance Learning) for the Fall Semester 2026.

The scholarships available are:

1 Full Scholarship (100%) – Merit-based
9 Partial Scholarships (50%) – Subsidized tuition fees

Registration deadline: 4 September 2026

This quiz has been created primarily for educational purposes, with the aim of raising awareness and promoting knowledge about the shipping industry—one of the world's most vital sectors. Whether you're a maritime professional, a student, or simply curious about shipping, this is a great opportunity to learn something new while having fun.

Participants who answer all questions correctly by will be entered into a random prize draw. One lucky winner will receive a €100 Gift Coupon from Public.

Please note: The prize draw is open exclusively to YoungShip Cyprus members. Non-members are welcome to complete the quiz for educational purposes, but they will not be eligible to participate in the prize draw.
