A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our WISTA Cyprus Summer Get-Together. ☀️💙

It was such a pleasure to press pause on our busy schedules and spend an evening simply enjoying good conversations, catching up with familiar faces, and getting to know some of our newer members a little better.

Evenings like these remind us that WISTA is built not only on professional connections, but on the friendships, support, and sense of community we share. It was wonderful to see so many of you and to celebrate the start of summer together.

Some evenings stay with you long after they're over, and our Annual Gala Dinner was certainly one of them.

On 12 June, we came together to celebrate under the theme Dolce Vita—an evening filled with wonderful conversations, laughter, delicious food, music, and the joy of spending time with a community that continues to inspire and support one another.

On 24 June, WISTA Cyprus hosted an engaging event in collaboration with ITIC, focused on BIMCO SHIPMAN 2024 and its practical implications for the shipping industry.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our speakers, Geraldine Koon and Ester Toumpouris. As highly experienced maritime lawyers, they brought a practical and insightful perspective to the discussion, helping attendees navigate the key changes and considerations surrounding the updated SHIPMAN form.

We are also grateful to Safe Bulkers for generously hosting us and providing the venue for the event.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us. The thoughtful questions and lively discussion reflected the importance of the topic and how it affects professionals from a variety of backgrounds, not just ship managers.
