The Agrisphere Solutions consortium will be in Japan this November to connect with innovators and the wider startup and AgTech communities at:
📍 Lifetime Startup Elevate 2026, Okinawa
📍 Digital AgTech Europe–Japan Meetup, Tokyo

To give innovators attending these events, as well as other prospective applicants, more time to learn about the programme and prepare their proposals, the Open Call deadline has been extended.

🟨 Masterclass BOLOGNA 🟨

Would you build your future on a construction site? 🏗️

Picture a 17-year-old choosing what to study next. Construction is on the list, but it rarely makes the shortlist. Is it because the sector is not "cool" enough? Because it still looks like a men's world? Or because nobody has shown them what a career in construction looks like today: BIM, digital twins, circular economy, drones, VR, green building?

And if you are a teacher or trainer, the question is just as uncomfortable. When a student says, "construction isn't for me", are they rejecting the sector, or the image of it that we keep passing on?

Perception and reality seem to be moving in different directions. What do young people really see when they look at our industry? And what would it take to change the story?

Join us at the BuildSkills Masterclass in Bologna (8–9 October, SAIE Fair, Wagner Room) and hear Stefano Macale, General Director of Formedil Italia, FIEC, BOSS LADIES project, deconstruct the stereotypes around youth and construction careers. You will also hear from young professionals, VET providers, researchers and companies who are already rewriting the narrative.
