Η σειρά συζητήσεων «Active Circle» διοργανώνεται στο πλαίσιο της πρωτοβουλίας Active Citizens του British Council, την οποία φέρνουν στην Κύπρο το Βρετανικό Συμβούλιο Κύπρου (British Council) και το Ενεργειακό Γραφείο Κύπρου (Cyprus Energy Agency). Έχει ως κύριο στόχο τη δημιουργία μιας πλατφόρμας ασφαλούς χώρου (safe space) συνάντησης, συζήτησης και επίλυσης προβλημάτων, όπου κύριοι φορείς της κο

ινωνίας θα μπορούν να συζητούν θέματα που αφορούν την τοπική ανάπτυξη και να συνεργαστούν στην πραγμάτωση κοινών έργων.

*Οι εκδηλώσεις του Active Circle είναι κλειστού κύκλου και θα απευθύνονται κάθε φορά σε διαφορετικούς φορείς.

🎊 Last year, during the European Mobility Week, we had an active circle discussion with Δήμος Λεμεσού - Limassol Municipality along with other relative stakeholders such as the Cyprus Energy Agency, the Department of Town Planning and Housing, representatives of civil society etc., about the mobility in Limassol and how that could be improved. The AC team advocated with the municipality for actions that could have been done during the European Mobility Week.🫱🏼‍🫲🏾

This year, we are very happy to see some of our recommendations being actually in place by the municipality - like the night city bike tours 🚲 and the free bike hire during the mobility week! 🚲

We do count this as a 🎉huge success🎉 for and we are looking forward for more discssusions 💬 about our city to make it a sustainable, accessible city for all . 🌍
