Because keeping Cyprus clean is not a one-time action — it’s ongoing work. And ongoing work needs resources we can count on.

Regular donations help City Friends Club plan ahead, support our daily cleaning teams, reach more polluted areas and keep cleanup projects running consistently.

The good news: Recycling batteries in Cyprus is easy. Collection points can be found in supermarkets, shops, schools, offices, and many other locations across the island.

Friends, even good deeds sometimes take a summer break. ☀️💚

August in Cyprus is a time of bright sunshine, warm days, and a well-deserved rest for our volunteer community. That’s why we’re taking a short summer pause and putting away our bags, gloves, and litter pickers until September.

We get used to life on this amazing island so quickly that we sometimes stop noticing everything it has to offer. One of the unique things about Cyprus is that in just one day you can swim in the sea, head up into the mountains, and discover something new. We wish you a wonderful time exploring the island like a tourist and simply enjoying a well-earned break. 🌿☀️
Thank you to everyone who was with us this season—for your time, kindness, support, and contribution to our shared mission. 💚

And on September 19, we’ll meet again at our new season’s public cleanups. Stay tuned for updates on any of our platforms.
We’ll be happy to see each and every one of you and continue making our cities cleaner together. ♻️

Друзья, даже у добрых дел иногда бывают летние каникулы. ☀️💚

Август на Кипре — время жаркого солнца, тёплых дней и заслуженного отдыха нашего волонтерского движения. Поэтому мы берём небольшую летнюю паузу и откладываем мешки, перчатки и пикеры до сентября.

Мы так быстро привыкаем к жизни на этом удивительном острове, что иногда перестаём замечать всё, что он может нам подарить. А ведь одна из особенностей Кипра — за один день можно искупаться в море, подняться в горы и открыть для себя что-то новое. Желаем вам провести это время с удовольствием, посмотреть на остров глазами туриста и просто насладиться отдыхом. 🌿☀️

Спасибо каждому, кто был с нами в этом сезоне, — за ваше время, отзывчивость, поддержку и вклад в общее дело. 💚

💚 779 drinks served in reusable cups.

A huge thank you to our amazing café partners, everyone who brought their reusable cup, and everyone who helped make Bring Your Own Cup Day happen!

Hundreds of people made one simple choice that helps reduce waste and build more sustainable everyday habits.

The event may be over, but the habit doesn’t have to be.

You can still enjoy a 10 or 15% discount at our Coffee Friends Club partner cafés whenever you bring your reusable cup.

Let’s keep making better choices ♻️💚
