City Friends Club is a charity organization active in Cyprus since 2022.
We focus on real, everyday impact — from professional street cleaning teams working daily to regular community cleanups and long-term eco initiatives across the island.

Alongside that, we run educational programs with schools, expand the Coffee Friends Club network, plant trees with corporate partners, and bring life to urban spaces through eco-art with Graffiti Friends Club.

Το City Friends Club είναι μια μη κερδοσκοπική οργάνωση που δραστηριοποιείται στην Κύπρο από το 2022.
Εστιάζουμε σε πραγματικό, καθημερινό αποτέλεσμα — με επαγγελματικές ομάδες καθαρισμού δρόμων, τακτικές εθελοντικές δράσεις και μακροπρόθεσμα οικολογικά έργα σε όλο το νησί.

Another cleanup, another strong result with Tribe 💚

Together with the Tribe community , we joined forces once again to make a visible difference.

This time, we collected:

♻️ 332 bags of PMD
🗑️ 305 bags of general waste
💪 940 kg of bulky waste

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up, gave their time and energy, and helped us get the job done.

And a very special thank you to Tribe for the long-term partnership, shared values and continued support. We’re grateful to have partners who keep coming back and turning good intentions into real action with us.

Sometimes the change starts with a report. Sometimes with someone deciding to clean the spot themselves. Both matter. ♻️

🔎 What can be actually found on a regular beach?

At the beginning of September, our Volunteers Club had an event, Beach Audit Cleanup, in collaboration with the Zero Waste Alliance.

In just 100 metres of beach, we collected over 1,439 individual pieces of waste, filling 4 buckets. It was a great reminder that even when an area looks clean, a surprising amount of litter can be hiding in plain sight.

By collecting and analysing the waste, we were able to better understand what is ending up on our beaches and what we can do to help prevent it.

A big thank you to the Zero Waste Aliance Zero Waste Alliance Cyprus for the collaboration and a special thank you to our photographer Plotitsa Liubov for capturing the day and helping us share these moments. 📸💚

Что на самом деле можно найти на пляже?

В начале сентября наш волонтерский клуб совместно с Zero Waste Alliance Zero Waste Alliance Cyprus провёл пляжный аудит клинап.

Всего на 100 метрах пляжа мы собрали более 1 439 отдельных предметов мусора – это целых 4 ведра!
Даже визуально чистое на первый взгляд место может скрывать гораздо больше отходов, чем кажется…

Но мы не просто собрали мусор, но и провели его анализ, чтобы лучше понять, какие отходы чаще всего оказываются на пляжах и что можно сделать, чтобы их уменьшить. ♻️

Calling all students, parents and teachers in Cyprus 💚

This November, the environmental online Olympiad USchool is launching in Cyprus, with City Friends Club as a partner.

The Olympiad is free and open to students aged 12–18. Participants will go through online testing, then create practical environmental projects and present their ideas to a jury.

USchool has already brought together more than 200,000 children from 9 countries, and now students in Cyprus can join too.

🏆 Winners will receive diplomas and valuable prizes from the project partners.

В ноябре на Кипре стартует экологическая онлайн-олимпиада USchool, партнёром которой выступает City Friends Club.

Участие бесплатное для школьников 12–18 лет. Сначала участников ждёт онлайн-тестирование, затем создание практических экологических проектов и презентация своих идей перед жюри.

USchool уже объединила более 200 000 детей из 9 стран, а теперь присоединиться смогут и школьники Кипра.

The plan is simple: show up, see the site, and conquer the cleanup ♻️

But the numbers aren’t the most important thing.
Behind them stand each of you—everyone who, on a Saturday morning, simply decided: “I can make the place where I live cleaner.”

And you did.
You could have slept in.
You could have walked on by.
You chose to show up.

And for us, that is the main result of World Cleanup Day 2026. ♻️
