The EU Grant Support Team (GST), funded by the Aid programme for Turkish Cypriot community, assists the European Commission with all activities and tasks related to the preparation, contracting, implementation and monitoring of EU-funded grant schemes for the Turkish Cypriot community and of the resulting grant agreements. neficiaries to facilitate their participation to Calls for Proposals under EU-funded grant schemes and with regard to implementation of grant agreements, if awarded, in line with contractual obligations. Kıbrıs Türk toplumuna Yardım Programı’nın finansmanı ile kurulan AB Hibe Destek Ekibi (GST) Kıbrıs Türk toplumuna yönelik olarak AB tarafından finanse edilen hibe programlarının hazırlanması, sözleşmelerinin yapılması, uygulanması ve izlenmesi ve bunlar sonucunda ortaya çıkan hibe sözleşmeleri ile ilgili tüm faaliyet ve işlemlerde Avrupa Komisyonu’na destek vermektedir. AB Hibe Destek Ekibi, ayrıca gerek potansiyel gerekse hibeden yararlanmaya hak kazanan hibe faydalanıcılarının, AB tarafından finanse edilen hibe programları kapsamında teklif çağrılarına katılımını kolaylaştırmak ve hibe almaya hak kazanmaları durumunda sözleşme yükümlülükleri doğrultusunda hibe sözleşmelerinin uygulanmasını sağlamak için gereken kapasiteyi oluşturmalarını da amaçlar.
