This is a working session, where your input will directly inform:
– Future EIT Food programmes and funding opportunities
– Capacity-building and training initiatives
– Cross-sector collaborations in Cyprus 🤝

The event will also bring together key stakeholders to network, exchange ideas, and build new partnerships beyond the event.

If you want to see the future of Cyprus entrepreneurship, look at the women building it. 💜

Only 17% of startups in Cyprus have a female founder or co-founder — but the Women Entrepreneurs Lab (WEL) is proving that when women are given the right support, mentorship, and community, they don’t just participate… they thrive. 🚀

Following an inspiring kickoff, with the 2-day bootcamp held on 7–8 March for International Women’s Day, the journey continues with the: 1:1 mentorships, giving each founder personalized guidance to refine strategies, sharpen pitches, and turn bold ideas into action.

On 27 March, we hosted the “Plan Smarter, Not Harder: Digital Marketing & Ads” workshop in collaboration with PromoGoat at The Base by CyprusInno 🧠🚀

Together with early-stage founders and startup teams, we explored how to approach digital advertising more strategically.

Across the session, we focused on key questions every startup should ask before investing in ads:
💡 Is paid advertising the right move at this stage?
📊 What should you test, validate, or refine first?
🧭 How do you turn limited budgets into clear, structured action plans?

A few key takeaways stood out:
🎯 Strategy comes before spend
✔️ Many startups benefit more from positioning and testing than immediate paid campaigns.
🧠 Real challenges, real feedback
✔️ Founders brought their actual problems and received direct input and guidance from expert trainer Andreas Anastasiades, Co-Founder of PromoGoat.
🛠️ Hands-on beats theory
✔️ Using PromoGoat tools, participants built messaging, mapped campaign ideas, and shaped practical marketing strategies in real time.

You can find us on Saturday, 28 March, starting from 14:00 at the Open Amphitheatre, where we’ll be hosting a kiosk focused on participation, inclusion, and social innovation, creating space for dialogue, exchange, and collective reflection.

The festival brings together more than 50 contributors, including NGOs, artists, cultural practitioners, activists, musicians, and community groups from Cyprus and beyond, creating a space for dialogue, collaboration, and collective action.
