At de keukentafel, the field decides what's for dinner.

And that is exactly where creativity begins.

Anna Wynants and her sister Jozefien brought a piece of conventional farmland back to life in a regenerative way: cover crops, compost, agroforestry, rotation, and no plowing.

In an old barn beside the field, twenty guests at a time sit down to a tasting menu grown entirely on the farm, but only after walking the rows to see where the food is grown.

Since summer 2025, every single vegetable on the plate has come from their own land.

For Anna, that is the joy of being a chef: standing in the harvest and choosing, each day, what to create with it.

👉 Meet Anna Wynants / de keukentafel / 📍Belgium

Anna Wynants grew up on a biodynamic farm in Belgium where every meal was cooked with vegetables straight from the family's land.

She never knew anything else. Farming and cooking were never two separate things, they were one.

That childhood became a philosophy. At De Keukentafel, the 0.4-hectare regenerative market garden she runs with her sister Jozefien in Oosterzele, farming and gastronomy meet on the same plate.

She harvests vegetables in the morning, cooks them in the afternoon, and serves them to guests in the evening seated in the field where they grow.

At De Keukentafel nature writes the menu, not the other way around.

What if a farm is not just a place for agricultural growth, but for community growth, knowledge expansion, and appreciation for the natural world?

That is exactly what Federico Chierico had in mind when he began Il Chioso in his hometown of Biella.

Il Chioso is regenerating land that has been industrially cultivated since the ‘60’s.

Once a physiotherapist, now a farmer: Federico Chierico took a less-than-typical path to arrive at regenerative farming.

It started with a small garden for his own sustenance and eventually led to Il Chioso Società Semplice Agricola.

Today, Il Chioso is not just a place for agricultural production, but for community growth, knowledge expansion, and appreciation for the natural world.

What happens when 50,000 people gather on a regenerative farm?

At The Story Farms in Somerset, UK, Luke Hasell is rewriting the rules of land stewardship.

He isn’t just producing organic meat and crops, he’s opening his gates for multilayered cultural events like Valley Fest.

His goal? To spark a collective awakening around regenerative agriculture with the farm serving as a sanctuary for inspiration, celebration, and learning.

"Every volunteer... Every dinner... Every person dancing barefoot... Every child who picks their first carrot or meets their first cow here all of them are part of something bigger." he shares.

But building a community without considering future generations isn't enough.
Luke is looking 1,000 years into the future with his vision for the Forever Farm Foundation.

"The real dream isn’t just about me leaving the land for the better. It’s about knowing, deep in my heart, that long after I’m gone, this land will be cared for by people who love it as much as I do."

After his father’s passing in 2003, Luke Hasell left a civil engineering career in London to return to the fields of his childhood in Somerset, UK. Facing soil exhausted by decades of industrial agriculture, he made a radical choice:
"When I was left with the key to the chemical cupboard, I knew I was not going to be applying those substances to the land."

Over two decades later, Luke’s work has expanded from organic production into an inspiring movement for ecological renewal.

It’s anchored in a 1,000-year vision to regenerate millions of hectares.

Luke recognizes this vision is not one he can carry alone. It’s all about collaboration.
"We need more than one farmer with a big dream. We need a family, a community, a movement of people around us who believe in regenerative stewardship."

Who knew becoming a mum could lead to a career in regenerative farming?
Sasha (40) was running her health and beauty clinic when becoming a mum forever changed the way she looked at food.

Alongside her partner Jock, she threw herself headfirst into regenerative farming, determined to grow organic, nutrient-dense food that would nourish their growing family as well as the community around them.

From farm to fork, the Soil Farm is now nurturing a future where their son, their Guernsey cows and the land itself grow and thrive together. Turns out, healthy skin isn’t the only thing that starts from the ground up!

What does a remote-controlled cattle gate, cow-stomach, and seaweed fertilizer have in common?

They are both part of Jonas Rosenberg’s experiments at Haddnäs Gård in Finland.

From grazing innovations to homemade soil solutions, this 400-hectare family farm is exploring what regenerative agriculture can become.

👉Meet Jonas Rosenberg / Haddnäs Gård / Finland

What happens when a farmer finds a whole new way of seeing agriculture?
For Jonas, it started with Northern Roots, a conference where farmers, innovators and researchers from across the world shared their experiences and ideas.

It was here that he saw a future for farming he had never imagined before.
Inspired by that community, Jonas began transforming his family farm Haddnäs Gård combining generations of experience with regenerative practices.
