Friends of Larnaca Cats We support the many cat communities in the areas of St Lazarus, Mackenzie Beach, old airport and Larnaca Salt Lakes. Many cats are sick or need neutering

Friends of Larnaca Cats is a small group of dedicated volunteer animal lovers. We came together because we are concerned about the condition of stray, street and feral cats in our area, many of whom live in dire conditions, struggling to survive off the food they are able to scavenge. Currently the government neutering campaigns are totally inadequate and cannot keep up with the number of feral and stray cats needing neutering and so cats are stuck in an ongoing cycle of breeding. Life for feral cats is short and full of risk from injury, disease and starvation. There is a shocking death toll amongst young kittens.We support the many cat communities, abandoned cats, feral and street cats and kittens in the Larnaca area. We feed them, give them medical treatment when required, vaccinate and treat them for parasites. Our Trap-Neuter-Release programme "Nicked and Proud" allows us to start stabilising the feral populations where we work by catching cats, taking them to a vet for neutering, and returning them to their community. We focus on the St Lazarus, Mackenzie Beach and Salt Lake areas of Larnaca. Friends of Larnaca Cats is heavily reliant on donations. Whether it be from our own pockets or from our generous benefactors, we are grateful to every single person who helps by donating to our appeals. Meet Princess 👑 – she's ready to find her forever home!😺

Princess is 5 months old, fully vaccinated, neutered and ready to meet her forever family.

Princess was rescued after being found trapped inside a drain pipe. Despite her difficult start in life, she has grown into a sweet, playful kitten. She gets along wonderfully with the other kittens around her and, while she can be a little shy when meeting new people, her curiosity quickly wins over her nerves. Like any kitten her age, she loves to explore, play with toys, and is always happy to be won over with tasty treats!😹

Princess is available for adoption in the UK and EU. She will travel with her pet passport and everything she needs for a safe and comfortable journey.✈️

Oscar was found abandoned at one of our feeding colonies when he was just a tiny kitten. Thankfully, he was taken into foster care, where he has blossomed into the most adorable little gentleman.

Oscar is a sweet, gentle boy who has grown up alongside older cats. He can be a little shy at first, but once he gets to know and trust you, he absolutely loves cuddles and affection. He's looking for a loving home filled with toys to play with, tasty food, and plenty of snuggles.🥰

Oscar is approx 6 months old, neutered and vaccinated! He is currently in Cyprus but can also be adopted in the UK or EU. Oscar will travel with everything required for his journey, so he'll be fully prepared to start his new life with you.✈️

Meet Bertie! A playful little gentleman who knows how to have fun but also appreciates the finer things in life — like a peaceful nap, some quiet time, and simply chilling after a busy day of being adorable. 😸

Bertie is the perfect mix of playful and laid-back. He'll happily entertain you with his silly antics, then switch off and enjoy some well-deserved me-time. Basically, he's mastered the work hard, nap harder lifestyle! 😂

🐾 Meet Annie – our very special girl looking for her forever home! 🐾❤️

At just 5 months old, Annie has already been through so much in her little life, but she has so much love to give and is ready to find her special human. 🏡💕

Annie is fully vaccinated and, although she has a few extra challenges, she doesn’t let them stop her from enjoying life!

👀 Annie is partially sighted. One of her eyes will soon be operated on to close it, while her other eye is fine.

🐾 She also has a little wobble when she walks. Annie has undergone various tests to try to find the cause, but unfortunately, there are still no definite answers. It is thought to be a birth defect.

Because of her disabilities, Annie will need to be an indoor-only cat to keep her safe. But please don’t think this stops her from being a playful little kitten! 🥰 She loves running around with her foster siblings and can even jump up onto the sofa with no problem!

💕 Annie’s favourite thing in the world is a cuddle with her foster mum! She has the sweetest, quietest nature and is such a gentle little soul.

We know Annie will need a very special home, with someone who can see past her disabilities and love her for the beautiful little girl she is. In return, she’ll bring so much love, affection and happiness into your life. ❤️

Sweet little Ziggy is looking for his forever home! At just 5 months old and fully vaccinated, this gorgeous boy is ready to find his special someone.🏡

Ziggy is an absolute sweetheart who lives for cuddles and human affection. His favourite place in the whole world is snuggled up on his foster mums chest, purring away happily. He just loves being close to his human and will melt your heart with his loving nature🐱

Ziggy would be perfectly happy as the only cat in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention, but he could also happily share his home with other cats.
