We have new Tiny Paws attracting the interest of our gang and all need your help. Meet Simba William and Kate. All three have been taken into a now full Argos and we are here to help them get settled and prepare them for their future. Each will need vaccines and over the next few months will be prepared with passports for their onward journeys. We will tell you more about this cute th*****me and their stories over the coming days and how you can help but for now they need plenty of rest - snooze well little ones 😴😴😴

Once upon a time there were over 80 hungry homeless and helpless cats taken into the cattery , one by one we got them well taught them to trust and sent them on their way to loving homes. Now just 7 of those original TPOH cats remain. These 7 are just as beautiful and just as deserving but they are shy and remain unnoticed. So please say “hello” again to Ezra. Say it quietly and have patience as it may be a while before he is ready to respond but we truly believe that given time , love and one to one care our beautiful boy will come round. We wont rest until all our cats find the homes they so deserve

UPDATE ON GINGER CAT

The cat with the deformed leg has been taking up a lot of our teams time this week

We were first alerted to this cat by a tourist that was staying in a rental villa .She had noticed her deformed leg and was understandably concerned. The little cat was coming right inside the villa but not close enough to be touched

The tourists have now left and the villa is empty We have gained access to the garden with the help of neighbours but have so far been unsuccessful in trapping the cat as there are so many dense hedges and she simply wont come near Six visits have been made without a successful capture

We have discussed the situation with the neighbour. who feeds the cats and has been cooperative but seems concerned about our activity perhaps due to the recent scaremongering over cat trapping.

We shall therefore ensure that the situation is explained to the neighbour in Greek and assure him that we are here to hep the cat and return her if suitable and if mot offer her a safe space. Meanwhile our team are happy that she is not in pain. She is moving quickly ( if somewhat awkwardly) and is getting food The pictures have been shown to a vet and it is unclear if the leg is a birth defect or a break that has healed badly and we wont know this without xrays

We are aware that some of you have donated to the care of this cat and can assure you that not a euro of this money will be touched until we resolve this situation. If anyone who has donated wants their money returned meanwhile please message us. Equally if you have any questions please dm

Thanks to all the amazing rescue groups in Cyprus and to our fabulous TPOH team another group of Cyprus cats are arriving to better lives We hope it wont be long before Nook Mustard and Ivy find their dream homes
