🐾 Our Gigi is making progress! 🐾

Our lovely Gigi is making some progress in regaining movement in her back legs and tail.

You will remember that Gigi was heavily pregnant when we found her in the colony. She then disappeared to have the kittens and we found her back at the colony in a terrible condition, unable to move her back end at all. Sadly we were unable to locate the kittens.

We are still awaiting the results of tests which may tell us more about what happened to Gigi. Meanwhile this lovely girl clearly has a will to live and regain her mobility.

Thank you for your support with our recent pamper hamper draw. The proceeds have gone to our vet to help pay for Gigi and other cats who have needed urgent medical care.

We will continue to support Hope cats as long as we are financially able to do so. Your support means everything to Gigi and cats like her.

Our colony cats are prone to carrying worms and catching giardia, a parasite of the small intestine. We notice this when they become thinner or have sore extremities!

Elena has been treating them individually at the colony with wormers and antibiotic treatment where necessary, prescribed by our vet.

Your donations help us to keep the colony cats well.
