📣 Με μεγάλη χαρά και υπερηφάνεια ανακοινώνουμε ότι η κα Νατάσσα Φρειδερίκου, Πρόεδρος του Συμβουλίου του Πανεπιστημίου Frederick, διορίστηκε ως Συμπρόεδρος του Κυπριακού Δικτύου Λύσεων για τη Βιώσιμη Ανάπτυξη (SDSN Cyprus), το οποίο έχει ως αποστολή την επιτάχυνση της προόδου προς την επίτευξη των Στόχων Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης (SDGs) σε εθνικό επίπεδο. Βασικοί άξονες της δράσης του SDSN Cyprus περιλαμβάνουν τη συνεργασία με αρμόδιους κρατικούς φορείς για την ενσωμάτωση των Στόχων Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης (SDGs) σε εθνικές πολιτικές και στρατηγικά έγγραφα.

Ο διορισμός της σε αυτή την εξέχουσα θέση αποτελεί αναγνώριση της αφοσίωσής της στην προώθηση της βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης και της ακαδημαϊκής αριστείας. Είμαστε βέβαιοι/ες ότι ο ηγετικός της ρόλος θα συμβάλει ουσιαστικά στις παγκόσμιες προσπάθειες για την επίτευξη των Στόχων Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης του ΟΗΕ. 👏👏

Our story

In December 2019, The Cyprus Research and Education Foundation (CREF), Frederick University and Neapolis University Paphos, accompanied by representatives from universities, NGOs, and the public and private sectors in Cyprus, launched the Cyprus branch of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN).

SDSN Cyprus, with CREF as its secretariat, works with all sectors of society to improve the island’s performance in implementing the SDGs, collecting and disseminating best practices, raising awareness, promoting sustainable development education, engaging with youth, and assisting the authorities, the private sector and civil society organisations in mainstreaming the SDGs into their daily operations.
