Last session was raw, real, and exactly why we keep showing up.
👉🏾 A Black woman shared how she had to move cities in the Netherlands just to escape the racist bullying. She also spoke of feeling unsafe around Sinterklaas season, year after year.
👉🏻A white woman admitted her discomfort around Black people and the fear of saying the wrong thing.
👉🏼 Someone shared how raising a biracial child means letting go of racist traditions like Sinterklaas.
👉🏿 We talked about racism in schools.
Question discussed: When do we speak up? When do we conserve our energy?
This week, we’re taking it further.
🇵🇸 🇨🇼We’ll reflect on how what's happening in Palestine connects to Curaçao. Through the lens of racism, silence, and resistance.
We’re not here for easy answers. We’re here for real talk, racial awareness, and activating everyone in the room.
