First and foremost, thank you. Thank you to everyone who has supported this idea, shared it, trusted us, signed up, and believed in what we’re trying to create.

From the beginning, the intention behind Cali2Cuba has been simple: keep the experience small, personal, accessible, and purposeful. We brought the price down as much as possible—essentially to the bare minimum needed to make the program happen—because the real goal is to create work and put resources directly into the hands of our network of Cuban artists, educators, drivers, hosts, and collaborators.

This isn’t about luxury tourism. It’s about coming to Havana, spending time with Rumba All-Stars, studying one-on-one with incredible artists, working on your craft, sharing culture, building real relationships, and knowing that your presence is directly supporting the people making the experience possible.

And with a lot of gratitude, we can officially say: WE’RE ALMOST FULL. ❤️🇨🇺

Our October 7–11 trip has ONE spot left. November is technically full, but we’ve decided we can open ONE final additional spot for someone who signs up soon.

The reason we’re organizing this Solidarity & Cultural Exchange Trip is simple: Cuba is going through an incredibly difficult moment. Beyond the blackouts and shortages, one of the biggest problems is the lack of tourism and outside income. Artists, families and small communities depend heavily on visitors and the money they bring into the local economy.

So instead of being afraid to go, we want to encourage responsible, people-to-people travel — come study, connect, spend locally and support the community directly.

For $550, you’ll spend 5 days in Havana with the Rumba All-Stars family and our extended network of some of Havana’s top musicians, dancers and teachers. Housing, airport transportation and 3 hours of private classes each day are included, plus rehearsals and time to simply hang out and connect with the community.

This is not a safari or a touristy trip. It’s real cultural exchange: you learn from them, they benefit from your presence, and relationships are built both ways.

And most importantly, 100% of the proceeds and donations go directly to Cuban artists, families and community members — no middlemen or institutions. People to people, hand to hand. ❤️🇨🇺

🇨🇺 SOLIDARITY TRIP TO HAVANA

This is not a tour. It is not a safari. Cuba and its culture are not something to simply observe, consume, photograph and leave behind.

This experience is about connection, exchange and reciprocity.

We’re coming together with Cuban musicians, dancers, families and communities to share genuine experiences where everyone has something to teach and everyone has something to learn. We want to spend time with the people who carry these traditions—not just study the culture, but understand the human beings and communities behind it.

Most importantly, we believe in giving back to the source. Your participation directly supports Cuban artists and local communities, and any donations or resources we bring go directly into the hands of people who can benefit from them.

Afro-Cuban Cultural Exchange Program — Havana, Cuba
Join Miguelito León and the Rumba All-Stars Academy for a seven-day intensive cultural exchange in Havana, Cuba. Designed for students and artists, this immersive program provides direct engagement with Afro-Cuban traditions through daily workshops in song, percussion, and dance, led by master practitioners of the Rumba All-Stars.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the historical and cultural context of Afro-Cuban music and movement through interactive classes, live performances, and exclusive artist demonstrations. The program includes housing, visa support, daily breakfast buffet, full workshop itinerary, and airport transfers.
