Na zvaničnoj stranici projekta Danube Ruralscapes objavljena je nova priča iz serijala Rural Echoes, posvećena tradicionalnoj torbi iz sela Dobra, jednog od pilot sela u mikroregionu Golubac.
Dobranska torba, tkana na razboju od vune, bila je više od praktičnog predmeta. Koristila se za nošenje žetve, hrane i alata, pa čak i dece, ali je predstavljala i snažan simbol lokalnog identiteta i prepoznatljivosti sela.
Gde god se pojavila, znalo se: "Oni su iz Dobre".
U okviru projekta Danube Ruralscapes, ovakvi primeri nematerijalnog nasleđa potvrđuju da kulturni pejzaž ne čine samo objekti i arhitektura, već i predmeti, znanja i tradicije koje zajednica prenosi generacijama.
Projekat Danube Ruralscapes realizuje međunarodni konzorcijum partnera, među kojima je i Regionalna razvojna agencija Braničevo–Podunavlje.

Dobra, Serbia 🇷🇸 - The Bag That Carried a Village
✨This week, our bring a different kind of heritage story - not a building, not a street, but an object that shaped everyday life in the : the Dobra Bag.
Woven on a four-frame loom using coarse peasant wool, the Dobra Bag was built for strength - strong enough even to carry children, as locals like to say with a smile 🙂
Its checkered pattern was so distinctive that people from Dobra were recognised instantly at fairs, gatherings… even on the streets of Belgrade.
✨ An everyday object that became a cultural marker.
While the works with architecture and built environments, it also explores cultural landscapes - the living fabric created by people, traditions, skills, and objects that define rural identity. The Dobra Bag is part of that fabric.
It represents:
🌿 local materials (wool)
🧵 local craftsmanship (weaving traditions)
🧭 local identity (a symbol recognised across the region)
📜 intangible heritage (stories, humour, meaning carried across generations)
Heritage is not only what stands in the landscape - it’s also what people carry through the landscape.
💚 As a pilot village, Dobra shows how intangible traditions are as vital as buildings in shaping a sustainable rural future.
