The "Culture Exchange" team are a group of friends who came to Novi Sad to study, volunteer, and establish new and innovative projects. Our Cafe (established July 2012) will be the hub for our events and free workshops. In the same location, we established the Novi Sad Bike Kitchen, an open self-service repair shop to make your bike awesome (or simply, functional). What you will find at Culture Ex

change and why

Coffee: Our coffee is from Java Coffee Serbia, a local roaster in Belgrade. The coffee we use is called JAVA007, it is 100% arabica(espresso blend BRAZIL Santos, INDIA Monsoon Malabar) with milk chocolate, sweet cherry, dried plum and almond aromas. With so many big companies taking over the smaller businesses, its important for all of us to support the economy of this country and when possible, to buy local. Also thinking green, its much better for the environment to buy from local companies, saving the cost of shipping, truck and other transportation

Flavored Coffee: We use Monin syrups for our coffee flavorings, because they are vegan friendly and generally have a stronger and better taste. We aim to make every coffee perfectly flavored, neither too sweet or tasteless. The flavors you will find consistently available at Culture Exchange are Coconut, Caramel, Vanilla, Mint, and Choc. Besides this, you can experience the coffee of the month, which is always a unique recipe or some of our specialty coffee mixes. Milk: We use fresh milk for our coffee, because the texture and consistency of the milk is so much better for the crema in cappuccino and other drinks. Soja Milk: readily available for vegans and those with sensitive stomachs

Home made products: Handcrafted marshmallows, cookies, cakes, syrups, chutneys, teas and other delicious products are made by us and members of the community here in Novi Sad. Saving your body from the gluten and other additives found in packaged goods. Also ensuring that they are fresh and tasty

Beers and other drinks: Local and foreign beers, craft beer, cocktails, juices, smoothies and much more. Bike Kitchen: Use the tools at the bike kitchen to repair your bike for free. Games: All the board and card games at Culture Exchange are for your use and are for free, you may come and use them at any time. The games we have available are
Risk, Monopoly, Abalone, Frustration, Talisman, Star Craft, Dominion, Chess, Settlers of Catan, Scrabble, Baccus' Banquet, Rummy, Munchkin, Cluedo, Hey that's my fish, Jenga, Set, Mon, Uno cards, and ordinary card decks. Library: We have a large collection of fiction and non fiction books in different languages for you to read in the cafe or take our and borrow to read at your own pace. Rule for borrowing are a one month return period, leave your details and we will get back to you when your time expires. Also bring a book of your own and offer a trade for one of ours, we cannot assure you that your offer will be accepted, as some of our books are rare copies that we would like to keep, but we may allow you to trade your book in return for one that you would like to read.
