ivnih industrija, zaštite životne sredine i brendiranja destinacija. Zašto se EXIT fondacija bavi baš tim temama? Zato što su to temelji EXIT-a. EXIT je jedini festival na svetu te veličine i značaja koji je nastao društvenim aktivizmom mladih, koji su razvijajući festival kroz kreativne industrije (re)brendirali destinacije Novog Sada, Srbije i jugoistočne Evrope.

Using the power of EXIT brand, the mission of EXIT Foundation is its own positioning as a leader in mobilisation of public opinion and decision makers in the areas of youth development and peace promotion, creative industries, environmental protection and destination branding. Why does EXIT foundation deal with such topics? These topics are the basis of EXIT. EXIT is the only festival in the world of that size and significance that was founded by social activism of young people who while developing the festival through creative industries have re-branded destinations of Novi Sad, Serbia and South-East Europe.

At this year’s Bridge Conference, we opened a vital conversation: Can art become a tool for real ecological change? 🌿✨

The energy from our EMERGENCY EXIT panel is still as powerful as it was on stage. The live events industry is at a turning point, and this discussion proved that festivals and immersive art are ready to lead the way from awareness to concrete action.

Oko 10 kubika otpada prikupljeno u ovogodišnjij ekološkoj akciji „Sjajni Umag“ tokom Sea Star Festivala! 🌊

Ponovo smo udružili snage sa roniocima, volonterima i ekološki osvešćenim građanima kako bismo očistili podmorje, obalu i gradsko jezgro Umaga i poslali snažnu poruku o važnosti očuvanja Jadrana. 🌍

U akciji je učestvovalo više od 40 volontera, a rezultat je neverovatan - prikupljeno je oko 10 kubika otpada, što je napunilo čak 2 velika kontejnera! 💪 Izvučeno je sve, od plastike i starih mreža do guma, pa čak i jedne odbačene klupe koja je ugrožavala morski ekosistem.

EXIT Fondacija i Sea Star Festival se već treću godinu zaredom, kroz evropski projekat REMEDIES, ponosno pridružuje ovoj inicijativi. Hvala Gradu Umagu, organizaciji YouSea i svim partnerima i pojedincima koji su pokazali kako zajednički angažman menja svet na bolje. ✨

Nek nam priroda uvek sija, velike zelene pozdrave šaljemo do sledećeg druženja! 🟢

Around 10 cubic meters of waste were collected in this year’s “Shiny Umag” eco-action during the Sea Star Festival! 🌊

Once again, we joined forces with divers, volunteers, and eco-conscious citizens to clean up the seabed, the coastline, and the city center of Umag, sending a powerful message about the importance of preserving the Adriatic Sea. 🌍

More than 40 volunteers participated in the action, and the result is incredible - around 10 cubic meters of waste were collected, filling up 2 large dumpsters! 💪

Everything was pulled out, from plastics and old fishing nets to tires, and even a discarded bench that was threatening the marine ecosystem.

For the third consecutive year, the EXIT Foundation and Sea Star Festival are proudly joining this initiative through the European REMEDIES project. Huge thanks to the City of Umag, the YouSea organization, and all the partners and individuals who showed how collective engagement can change the world for the better. ✨

Oko 10 kubika otpada prikupljeno u ovogodišnjij ekološkoj akciji „Sjajni Umag“ tokom Sea Star Festivala! 🌊

A massive thank you to everyone who packed the Main Stage and let their pulse align with the vision of EMERGENCY EXIT. Together with the legendary La Fura dels Baus, Satori Musica, EYESBERG, and the incredible collective that drove the soundscapes under the stars at Sea Star Festival, we created something truly unforgettable. 🎭🌌

Visible results, real change. 🌊📈

Uroš Novak perfectly captures the shift: what felt unimaginable ten years ago is now our non-negotiable reality. Plastic pollution is no longer an invisible issue, and the urgency has turned into collective action.

That’s why Sea Star is introducing the “Plug-and-Play 2 Zero-Waste” system - a complete circular loop. Single-use plastic is out, and new bio-based cups are in. Instead of being thrown away, they are collected, washed, and reused right on-site throughout the festival.

The community is ready, the system is here, and the results are right in front of us. 🔄✨

As Artur Mendes points out, a festival starts with meeting our most basic physiological needs. At Sea Star, we translate this through our deep connection with the sea.

Sustainability here is about water preservation and creating a safe, regenerative environment where the audience and the Adriatic coast can thrive together.

Gledajući ove uspomene, ponovo osećamo toplinu tog sunca i miris slobode koji je lebdeo u vazduhu.Tvrđava je bila mesto gde su snovi postajali vidljivi, a svaki iskreni osmeh bio je dovoljan da nas podseti na lepotu zajedništva. 🌿💖

Neraskidiva veza između čoveka, muzike i prirode, danas je temelj svake nove avanture koju gradimo. Kroz Incredible Destination Events, selimo taj isti kod slobode na lokacije koje oduzimaju dah, čuvajući taj zlatni sjaj u očima svakog od vas. 🌞✨

This year at Sea Star, sustainability gets a new heart. To close the loop on water waste, the Plug & Play 2 Zero Waste unit is taking the stage - a smart infrastructure powered by REMEDIES. 🌊✨

It’s revolutionary: instead of just washing, we are nurturing a living ecosystem. The system uses plant-based power to naturally purify water, cool the air, and turn every drop into a renewable resource for the environment.

Creative Gate je regionalna digitalna platforma namenjena akterima kulturnih i kreativnih industrija na Zapadnom Balkanu, nastala u partnerstvu EXIT Foundation i Taksirat Festival, sa ciljem jačanja kreativnog ekosistema i dugoročnog pozicioniranja regiona na globalnoj kreativnoj mapi. 🌍

Na predstavljanju platforme govorio je i Miloš Milovanović, internacionalni konsultant i partner u ""Gaining Edge"", koji je zaključio da će naša spremnost da svaku inicijativu tretiramo kao sopstvenu šansu, a ne kao nametnut proces, odrediti koliko ćemo uspešno transformisati lična iskustva u kreativnu budućnost koja nam pripada. ✨
