🌍 Excited to share that our SedSubMat project was presented at the BioCompWaterClean Workshop 2025 as an invited lecture!
🎤 We had the opportunity to present on:
✨ “Evaluation of Stabilized Dredged Sediment’s Potential for Use in Subgrade Material with Life Cycle Assessment”
Our research highlights how waste materials, such as dredged sediments, can be transformed into valuable resources for sustainable construction — supporting the shift toward zero waste technologies and a circular economy. ♻️
The BioCompWaterClean Workshop „Novel wastewater treatment applications toward zero-waste technology“ took place on 20-21 October 2025 at the Science and Technology Park Novi Sad, Republic of Serbia. The workshop was organised within the BioCompWaterClean project (No 7464), Prisma programme, which is funded by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia.
The BioCompWaterClean conference served as a platform that gathered academics, researchers, scientists, and industry representatives to share expertise and experiences in the field of innovative materials and processes for water treatment and environmental protection. It provided participants with valuable opportunities to network, exchange ideas, and present their research to an international audience. The event also fostered discussion on recent advancements, emerging trends, and ongoing challenges within these domains.
