Sasha's Shelter

Sasha's Shelter A shelter for over 750 abandoned dogs. Become a Patron for just $10 per month

www.sashashelter.com It’s a massive challenge to cover all these fixed costs.

Over the past 14 years, Sasha Pesic has saved over 1500 dogs around the city of Nis, Serbia. The majority of the dogs were rescued from cruel conditions, they were abused and on the verge of death. Over 700 dogs have been happily adopted and are enjoying their new lives - full of love, safety and joy. The rest of Sasha’s 750 dog pack is, however, still in two improvised shelters in Nis, left to be managed solely by Sasha’s unconditional love for these creatures. He knows every dog by name, gives them over 8 hours of outdoor time a day, and has dedicated his life to keeping every dog happy, healthy, and alive. Unfortunately, love alone will not feed, vaccinate and provide infrastructure for these dogs and that is why we are reaching out for help. Sasha’s Shelter’s only chance of becoming sustainable is to develop a stable monthly income. You can help Sasha by becoming his Patron on patreon.com/sashashelter

This will allow you to subscribe to donating as little as $2 a month to helping this man and his 750 best friends. In return, Patrons will get access to exclusive content and rescue stories, and feel the real satisfaction of helping out his amazing 750 dog pack. Become our Patron, help our dogs, create happy stories with us. Thank you.

❤️🐾 / A day that started quietly turned into the best gathering! ❤️🐾

👉 Podelite ovu radost i podržite naš rad donacijom!

Every day at the shelter has its own rhythm, but the sweetest moments are when our dear, familiar friends come to visit us.

There is no greater joy than when the dogs recognize the hands that pet them and the faces that bring them love. Smiles, happy barks, and lots of hugs — that is the energy that drives us!

Thank you for being there for us and for making this chain of shared moments last. Our doors and our hearts are always open to you! 🥰✨

👉 Share this joy and support our work with a donation!

🐾💭 / Have you ever wondered what a day looks like through their eyes? 🐾💭

Svako jutro u azilu nosi istu tihu nadu.

Every morning at the shelter carries the same quiet hope. As the sun rises over our yard, more than 700 rescue dogs wake up wishing that today will be the day someone notices them.

Between daily snuggles, playing with friends, and full food bowls, they wait. Some wait for a second chance, some for their very first, but all of them — wait for a place to call home.

Until that day comes for each and every one of them, you are their family. Your donations allow us to provide food, medical care, and safety, while sharing our posts helps them find their forever families.

Be a part of their story today. Support our shelter and help us keep going! ❤️

👉 Donate for a meal, share this post, and thank you for standing with us!

New day. New chance. Same love.

At Sasha Shelter, morning doesn't start with coffee. It starts with a broom, a cloth, and water. Because we know what they say: "Your home reflects your soul."

Our home has 700 souls. That's why we clean it like it's ours – because it is.

It's not hard. Because we love them. Because they deserve it. Because cleanliness isn't just hygiene – it's respect for life.

Thank you for being with us. Together we make everything hard feel easier. ❤️🐾

Novi dan. Nova šansa. Ista ljubav.

U Sasha Shelter-u, jutro ne počinje kafom. Počinje metlom, krpom i vodom.

Jer oni to zaslužuju.

Days roll by. Similar. Yet never the same. ❤️🐾

A little tears, a little laughter, a little carefree play — and yes, sometimes we argue too. But at the end of the day, one thing is certain: it's all out of pure love.

Volunteers give their whole heart. Donors keep this home alive. Together, we are a safe harbor for more than 700 little noses who have no other home.

This chain of joy, care, and rescued lives must not be broken. 🙏✨

👉 Share the story. Support the volunteers. Donate one more carefree day.🐶❤️

Nižu se dani. Slični. A nijedan isti. ❤️🐾

Volonteri daju celo srce.

👉 Podeli priču. Podrži volontere. Doniraj još jedan bezbrižan dan.🐶❤️

Look at this yard. This isn't just a shelter — it is a home to over 700 rescue souls. This yard is a garden of paws and tails, wet noses, and joyful eyes... A place where love is given and received completely unselfishly. 🐾❤️

Every step through this sanctuary is a reminder of the daily struggle we face. There are so many of us. We need food every single day, and sometimes we get sick... Hundreds of mouths to feed, hundreds of paws needing care, and endless eyes hoping for a better tomorrow.

Maintaining a sanctuary of this size and ensuring food and medical care for everyone is a mission we cannot carry alone. Help us survive and keep going. Every bag of food, every donation, and every share of this post directly helps keep this place alive.

Please don't look away. Stand with us — they are counting on us.

👉 Support our work, share this message, and help us feed and heal 700+ paws!

THEIR LIVES. YOUR HANDS. NOW. ❤️🐾

Look into these eyes. There is no resentment, no bitterness for the past, and no anger toward the world that abandoned them.

There is only HOPE.

Every single morning, over 700 rescue souls at Sasha Shelter wait for the exact same moment — a hand that won't leave. A hand that brings warm food, heals wounds, and gently wipes away fear.

To them, your hand is the difference between being forgotten and starting a new life. You are not just a bystander — you are the answer to their quiet prayers.

Remember: One share. One donation. One touch.

That is all that stands between these beautiful souls and a better tomorrow.

Don't wait. Be their hero today. 💛

NJIHOV ŽIVOT. TVOJE RUKE. SADA. ❤️🐾

Budi njihov heroj danas. 💛

Every scar has a story, but every gentle touch brings new hope 🐾❤️

People often ask us how we keep going. The answer is right here in these eyes.

They don't hold onto the pain of the past once you offer them a gentle hand. In their world, there is no bitterness — only an endless desire to be loved, seen, and safe.

Every single day at Sasha Shelter, we learn forgiveness from them. Over 700 rescue souls are waiting here for simple things: a meal without fear, a peaceful sleep, and a hand that stays.

Your support isn't just a donation or a share — it's a message to them that they are not forgotten 💛

Sasha Shelter 🐾
