We took part in a youth exchange called ‘Financial literacy: The first step towards financial responsibility’ in Nyíregyháza, Hungary between 23/11/2025-01/12/2025. There were 36 participants working together from Poland, Italy, Hungary and Serbia.
The project focused on equipping young people with essential financial skills, including budgeting, saving, and responsible investing. Through practical, hands-on learning experiences, participants developed the ability to navigate real-world financial challenges with greater awareness and confidence. Participants were also introduced to Erasmus+ opportunities, raising their awareness of international learning and mobility opportunities.
By strengthening financial literacy, the project contributed to empowering young people to take control of their financial future, reduce the risk of economic hardship, and make informed decisions. The project also focused on intercultural exchange and participants made international connections that last beyond the project lifetime.
