PHOTO CLUB KRAGUJEVAC EXHIBITION OPENS IN KYIV
An exhibition by Photo Club Kragujevac was ceremoniously opened at the House of Cinema in Kyiv, presenting works by 19 members of our club through a selection of 60 photographs.

The exhibition was opened by Ukrainian photographer and director of photography Oleg Malovitsky, on behalf of the hosts, and Andon Sapundziu, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine, on behalf of Photo Club Kragujevac and Serbia.

The event was further honoured by the presence of three ambassadors, as well as numerous photographers, artists, representatives of the cultural community, and guests.

At a time when Ukraine is facing exceptionally difficult circumstances, the meeting of artists from Kragujevac and Kyiv has taken on a significance that goes beyond the exhibition itself. Photography has once again shown that it can bring people, cities, and cultures together even when circumstances are at their most difficult.

We would like to thank our Ukrainian hosts, Oleg Malovitsky, and everyone who took part in organising the exhibition, and especially Ambassador Andon Sapundziu for his support, assistance, and the honour he bestowed upon us by opening the exhibition.

Photo Club Kragujevac Presents Serbia in Kyiv

An exhibition featuring 60 photographs by 19 authors will be opened by Andon Sapundziu, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine

Photo Club Kragujevac will present a major group photography exhibition in Ukraine, opening on 26 September 2026 at 2:00 PM at the House of Cinema in Kyiv.

The exhibition will feature 60 photographs by 19 members of Photo Club Kragujevac and will be officially opened by Andon Sapundziu, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine.

According to the Ukrainian hosts, this is the first time that a photography club from Serbia has organized an exhibition in Ukraine, giving the event special significance not only for Photo Club Kragujevac, but also for the cultural cooperation of Kragujevac and Serbia with Ukrainian artists and cultural institutions.

The exhibition presents a cross-section of the contemporary photographic work of Photo Club Kragujevac members. The 60 selected works reflect a wide range of photographic approaches, styles and artistic interests, from everyday life and people, landscapes and nature, to documentary, artistic and creative photography.

The exhibition in Kyiv is the result of international cooperation between Photo Club Kragujevac and Ukrainian photographers, particularly photographer and director of photography Oleg Malovitskyi, one of the organizers of the exhibition on the Ukrainian side. Malovitskyi graduated from the cinematography department of the Kyiv Theatre Institute, has worked as director of photography on more than 40 documentary films, and has participated for many years in Ukrainian and international photography exhibitions.

This cultural event carries particular significance because it is taking place in Kyiv at a time when direct encounters between artists and cooperation among cultural institutions have a meaning that goes beyond the presentation of photographic works alone.

Photo Club Kragujevac was founded in 2013 with the aim of continuing the city’s rich photographic tradition and strengthening Kragujevac’s presence on the photographic map of Serbia and the international photography scene. Over the years, members of the Club have
