Erasmus+ CONNECT 60+: Connected Through Knowledge and a Shared Vision
We have successfully concluded the international Erasmus+ mobility within the project CONNECT 60+: Bridging Cultures and Generations Through Digital Discovery (No. 2025-1-RO01-KA210-ADU-000359240).
During five inspiring days in Romania, together with our partners Asociatia SELLification4EDUcation from Romania and Values, Virtues, Integrity Foundation - VVIF from Bulgaria, we exchanged knowledge, experiences, and best practices, all with a shared goal of promoting the digital inclusion of people aged 60+.
The final days were dedicated to evaluating our activities, planning the next steps, and discussing how we can bring the knowledge and skills gained back to our local communities. A special highlight was the gala dinner, where we celebrated our successful collaboration and marked the conclusion of this mobility.
We are returning home with fresh ideas, stronger partnerships, and friendships that go beyond borders. This is not the end - it is the beginning of many more Erasmus+ stories together.

Day 3 of the Erasmus+ CONNECT 60+ Mobility in Romania
Our third day of activities within the Erasmus+ KA210 CONNECT 60+: Bridging Cultures and Generations Through Digital Discovery project (Project No. 2025-1-RO01-KA210-ADU-000359240) focused on cultural exploration, intercultural dialogue, and learning through shared experiences.
A key part of the programme was an educational visit to the magnificent Corvin Castle and Prislop Monastery, where participants explored some of Romania's most remarkable historical and cultural landmarks.
Representatives of Magenta - Center for education and development, together with our partners Asociatia SELLification4EDUcation from Romania and Values, Virtues, Integrity Foundation - VVIF from Bulgaria, discovered more about Romania's history, traditions, and cultural heritage. These visits provided an excellent opportunity to deepen our understanding of cultural diversity while strengthening mutual respect and appreciation among participants.
Together, we continue connecting cultures and generations through education, collaboration, and meaningful international experiences.

Day 2 of our Erasmus+ CONNECT 60+ journey!
Another inspiring day of learning, collaboration, and meaningful exchanges took place within the Erasmus+ KA210 CONNECT 60+: Bridging Cultures and Generations Through Digital Discovery project.
Together with our partners from Romania and Bulgaria, we explored new approaches to promoting digital inclusion and lifelong learning for older adults.
We participated in hands-on sessions focused on essential digital skills for seniors, including smartphone use, online tools, and internet safety.
We also discovered interactive teaching methods and explored the EU SELFIE platform as a valuable resource for improving digital education and adapting learning to the needs of senior learners.
The day concluded with inspiring discussions on best practices in digital education for seniors across Europe, followed by an engaging exchange of experiences and practical solutions for blended learning.
One of the highlights of the day was our visit to Colegiul Național Bănățean Timișoara, where we were warmly welcomed and had the opportunity to strengthen our international partnership.
We're grateful to our hosts, partners, and especially to the senior participants whose enthusiasm and willingness to learn continue to remind us that it's never too late to embrace new technologies!

The First Day of our Erasmus+ CONNECT 60+ Journey
A2 International Activity – Empowering Adult Educators: Training for Digital Inclusion of Seniors 60+
July 5–9, 2026 | Timișoara, Romania
With enthusiasm and excitement, we officially kicked off the international mobility activities of the Erasmus+ KA210 CONNECT 60+: Bridging Cultures and Generations Through Digital Discovery project (No. 2025-1-RO01-KA210-ADU-000359240).
Our host and project coordinator, Asociatia SELLification4EDUcation (Romania), welcomed partners .education (Serbia) and Values, Virtues, Integrity Foundation - VVIF (Bulgaria) for a week of learning, collaboration, and sharing best practices in digital inclusion for seniors.
The first day focused on getting to know one another, building strong partnerships, and strengthening our international team. Together, we explored the challenges and opportunities of digital education for older adults, introduced the project’s goals and expected outcomes, and began developing the Trainer’s Handbook—a practical resource that will support adult educators in promoting digital inclusion.
Together, we are creating new opportunities, building bridges between generations and cultures, and empowering seniors through digital skills.

Yesterday we welcomed the participants of the course "Driving Green and Digital Transformation", which AIFED is delivering to a group of teachers from the Centre for Education and Development MAGENTA in Kladovo, Serbia, and some other invited teachers.

This week will explore the European concept of the Twin Transition, focusing on sustainable and inclusive digital transformation in education and inclusion in adult education. We will also learn theory and practice about artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, smart correctors, and the use of applications such as ChatGPT and DALL-E.

We hope our visitors enjoy this week of training and also the Granada spring, the best time to visit our city.
