Our participants had the opportunity to participate in a youth exchange in Orahovica, Croatia. 🇭🇷

A youth leader, Ana, described her experience in our recent blog post:
"We learned about the evolution of human rights throughout history and across different cultures and civilizations, as well as different aspects of human rights including minority rights, women’s rights and environmental rights."

📢 OPEN CALL – ERASMUS+ YOUTH EXCHAN5GE

We are looking for 4 participants (18 - 30 years old) and 1 group leader (18+) from Serbia 🇷🇸 to join the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Green Vision, Youth Mission”!

📍 Location: Maceira-Fornos de Algodres, Portugal

📅 Dates: 3-9 September, 2026

👥 Participants: 4 young people (18 - 30) + 1 group leader (18+)

🌍 Participating countries:
🇵🇹 Portugal | 🇷🇸 Serbia | 🇲🇰 North Macedonia | 🇲🇹 Malta | 🇨🇿 Czechia

🧠 Project topic:
- increase young people’s awareness and sense of responsibility for environmental preservation through workshops that highlight mankind’s negative impact on natural resources;
- engage young people in working on realizing an actual green idea;
- facilitate the exchange of positive experiences in environmental
preservation through sharing and promoting eco practices from various parts of Europe;
- encourage the development of innovative ideas and actions for preserving the natural capital through cooperation of young people and youth leaders from different European countries;
- enhance youth organizations’ capacity to take a more active role in environmental protection through providing partners with new meaningful youth activities and youth work approaches that promote environmental protection.

🧠 Project topic:
Selected participants will get a chance to explore themselves through the metaphor of the four elements: earth, water, fire, and air. During five days of experiential workshops, reflection, and group activities, participants will explore questions such as: Using methods from non-formal experiential learning, biopsychology, body awareness, dance-movement, music, art, and self-reflection, participants will gain tools for better self-understanding, emotional regulation, and personal growth.

Our participants had the opportunity to participate in a youth exchange in Fužine, Croatia. 🇭🇷

One of our participants, Tijana, described her experience in our recent blog post:

"The workshops were about political situations in different forms of government, how people react to certain laws, how certain political parties would act and what they would stand for. The most interesting thing was when the (imaginary) foreigner should be filtered into a different state system, how he would cope (our assumption in the discussions), and how the local population would eventually react, and how maybe other people from the migration sector."

Our participants had the opportunity to participate in a training course in Vác, Hungary. 🇭🇺

Here's how one of the participants describes this experience:

"During this exchange, I had the opportunity to meet many people from different countries and learn about their cultures and customs. We became closer through numerous workshops and group games, covering political topics and learning about them through these activities. The workshops were designed to encourage teamwork, resourcefulness, and curiosity."

🧠 Project topic:
The overarching aim of this project is to empower young citizens from partner countries to become proactive advocates for human rights. By deconstructing the historical origins of these rights and analyzing modern challenges—such as the tension between majority rule and minority protections—the project seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical legal frameworks and the lived realities of youth in diverse political landscapes.
