groundup_eu was showcased at the UNODC Constructive Dialogue on the Smuggling of Migrants by Farhan Sahito from Privanova. In his presentation, he highlighted how digital evidence, international cooperation, and the rule of law can strengthen investigations into migrant smuggling and enhance cross-border collaboration.

Farhan also presented Privanova’s EU-funded projects, including groundup_eu, highlighting their role in advancing digital investigations, AI for security, and cross-border law enforcement cooperation.

GroundUp Project EU was showcased at the UNODC - United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Constructive Dialogue on the Smuggling of Migrants by Farhan Sahito from Privanova. partners gathered at the University in Romania on June 3–4 for the project’s mid-term review. 🇷🇴

The meeting provided an opportunity for all partners to present their progress to date, review achieved KPIs, and discuss the next steps and targets till the end of the project.

The project is progressing well and has already achieved important milestones, including a very successful hackathon. We are looking forward to the next activities and continuing our work together in the months ahead.

After the meeting, partners visited the university campus and explored ongoing activities and facilities, further strengthening collaboration across the consortium.
