15 WEBIN Years of Impact, Partnership, and Excellence!

This year marks an important milestone as we celebrate 15 years of contributing to community development, capacity building, international cooperation and cultural diplomacy.

Over the past decade and a half, WEBIN has evolved into a trusted partner in international development endeavors, connecting donors, policy actors, education, communities, civil society, and industry to create a change that benefits to the people.

Fifteen years of success would not have been possible without the dedication of our team and partners, who have contributed to this journey.

As we celebrate this anniversary, we also look forward to the future, continuing to build bridges and develop innovative solutions that address global challenges.

From local initiatives to international partnerships, from ideas to impact, thank you for growing with us. The best is yet to come.

Today, we celebrate a very special milestone : Jasmina Radoicic 10th anniversary at WEBIN.

For the past decade, Jasmina Radoicic has been an integral part of our journey, contributing her expertise, dedication, and passion to numerous Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe projects. Through her work, she has helped build strong international partnerships, create opportunities for learning and innovation, and deliver meaningful impact across Europe and beyond.

But this milestone is about much more than projects and achievements. It is also about the person behind them. Jasmina’s professionalism, reliability, positive spirit, and willingness to support colleagues have made her not only a valued team member but also a wonderful person to work alongside every day.

Over the years, she has witnessed and contributed to WEBIN’s growth, leaving her mark on countless initiatives and inspiring many of us through her commitment and perseverance.

Thank you, Jasmina, for ten years of hard work, collaboration, and dedication. We are grateful for everything you have brought to WEBIN and proud to celebrate this achievement with you.

Congratulations on this remarkable milestone, and here's to many more successes ahead! 🌟

On the sidelines of the Youth Forum in Novi Sad, where young people came together to simulate the European Parliament and engage in discussions on the future of Europe, another important conversation emerged: the future of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Serbia, the Western Balkans, and the EU.

As Europe navigates the twin green and digital transitions, skills development is becoming one of the defining challenges of our time. Questions around dual education, labour mobility, talent retention, and workforce preparedness are no longer just education issues but they are central to economic competitiveness and social cohesion.

The discussion highlighted the growing importance of regional cooperation through initiatives such as VET Balkans, a platform that brings together schools, training providers, universities, companies, and practitioners to strengthen dialogue and shape the future of vocational education in the region.

The future of Europe will depend not only on policies and institutions, but also on whether we can equip current and future generations with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

The REBOOTING project is implemented by Omladinski savez udruženja OPENS, Bečejsko Udruženje Mladih, Somborski edukativni centar - SEC, SINHRO Pančevo, and the Western Balkan Institute WEBIN, in cooperation with the city and municipal administrations of Novi Sad, Bečej, Sombor, Subotica, Pančevo, Kikinda, Zrenjanin, and Sremska Mitrovica. The project is funded by the European Union.

From inspiring discussions on digital storytelling and inclusive education to new ideas for future international cooperation, the recent Erasmus+ eStories project meeting in Malaga 🇪🇦 opened important new perspectives for collaboration.

Beyond the regular project activities, WEBIN 🇷🇸 was especially pleased to contribute an additional dimension to the meeting by connecting colleagues from Arsi University Ethiopia 🇪🇹 online with the project partnership. The discussion focused on the potential scaling-up of cooperation through the creation of a broader thematic network bringing together African and European universities and organisations in the fields of humanities, psychology, education, pedagogy, behavioural sciences, and related disciplines.

The exchange highlighted a shared interest in developing more inclusive, intercultural, and socially responsive approaches to education, research, and student support. We are grateful to all partners for their openness, enthusiasm, and willingness to explore new possibilities that extend beyond the current project framework.

Sometimes the most valuable outcomes of international projects are not only the planned activities, but also the unexpected connections that create space for future ideas, partnerships, and communities of practice.
