The leading idea is working with youth, through medias such as art and culture, through education and social work. The association “Crescendo”:
Nourishes values of civilian society and human rights, tolerance, and bans of different types of discrimination by advocating intercultural understanding, respect and solidarity. Develops creativity and supports creative approach of an individual, in order
to improve possibilities of young people
Enables a better knowledge of social community through connecting with other associations. Encourages inclusion of the youth and marginal groups into the society by applying nonformal education
Encourages young people to take part in volunteering and improving local communities, as well as in humanitarian work
For the aim of improving life in Serbia, the “Crescendo” association advocates interests of young people. The association “Crescendo” itself, or together with other cultural institutions, universities, schools, as well as with different organizations both in the country and abroad, works with young people, marginalized and other groups. They work on education and raising awareness about the rights and needs of youth and marginalized groups, mostly through workshops, seminars, performances, street actions and other forms of nonformal education. The association also organizes international projects – intercultural exchanges, seminars, and trainings for youth workers. The association “Crescendo” works on creating an archive of scientific and technical literature about nonformal education.
