At United for Kosova & Bosnia and Herzegovina, we are glad that the authorities of the Republic of Kosova conducted the 10th parliamentary elections in a transparent, professional, and uninterrupted manner.
The free and fair elections today are, among other things, a clear sign of Kosova's strong, resilient, and functional democracy and the citizens' desire to adhere to the values of a modern, liberal, and democratic society that considers free and fair elections and a peaceful transition of power integral to its existence.
Below are the partial results, according to the broadcasting agency CNA, presenting the number of votes that the competing Kosovar political parties achieved after the Central Election Commission concluded counting all the ballots from 599 polling stations, that is, 23.65 percent out of 2533 polling stations across the country.
According to the currently counted ballots, the current Prime Minister Albin Kurti's political party Lëvizja Vetëvendosje/LVV (Eng. Self-Determination Movement) is in the lead with 178,054 votes, which represents 55.77 percent of all the votes in relative terms.
In second place is Memli Krasniqi's political party Partia Demokratike e Kosovës/PDK (Eng. The Democratic Party of Kosovo) which has so far gathered 81,077 votes, that is, 25.39 percent in relative terms.
The third-ranking political party is Lumir Abdixhiku's party Lidhja Demokratike e Kosovës/LDK (Eng. The Democratic League of Kosovo) which has so far managed to secure 28,718 votes (8.99 percent overall).
The fourth place goes to Ramush Haradinaj's Aleanca për Ardhmërinë e Kosovës/AAK (Eng. Alliance for the Future of Kosovo), a political party that has so far obtained 15,964 votes (5.00 percent overall).
It appears that the fifth place will belong to Srpska Lista/SL (Eng. Serbian List), the political party that represents the interests of the Serbian ethnic minority which is predominately concentrated in the northern part of the country, alongside the border with Serbia. According to the live results, SL gained 3,672 votes (1.15 percent of the total share).
Despite LVV having an incredible advantage over its competitors, these are only partial results
