Winners of prizes and commendations of the Seventh Art Encounters
It is with great pleasure that we announce the names of the winners of this year's Seventh Art Encounters awards.
The members of the Seventh Art Encounters Art Council and the members of the Jury of the "Velizar Krstić" and "Stanka Todorović" awards had the difficult task of choosing the winners from among the multitude of excellent works of art. Congratulations to the awardees!
The winner of the Grand Prize of the Seventh Art Encounters is the Turkish artist Ayşegül Izer for the artwork "Still Life II", digital print, 39x30 cm, 2022.
The winner of the "Velizar Krstić" award for exceptional achievement in the field of fine arts is Andrea Guerra, a young Italian printmaker for the artwork "Gothic Line", a drawing made with Indian ink on handmade paper, dimensions 34x49 cm, 2024.
The winner of the "Stanka Todorović" award for exceptional achievement in the field of painting is the young artist Emilija Jancić from Belgrade, Serbia, for "The Cotton Candy Road", drawing with wooden crayons, 46x31 cm, 2025.
The winner of the Special Jury Award of the Seventh Art Encounters is Susanna Doccioli, a printmaker from Italy, for the work "Abyss of Memories", a print made using the linocut and monotype techniques, 70x50 cm, 2025.
The winner of the Special Prize for miniature is Svetlana Karović Deranić, a sculptor from Pančevo, Serbia, for the untitled triptych, work in metal, dimensions 15x15, 13x15 and 13x15 cm from 2025.
The winners of the Commendation for Outstanding Artistic Achievement for the year 2025 are:
Sara Lazarević, printmaker from Jagodina, Serbia for the artwork "From the Poem of Four Walls 1 Series" made in letterpress on hand-made paper, dimensions 100x100 cm from 2025,
Nikola Janković, a young sculptor from Belgrade, Serbia, for the artwork "The Great-Granddaughter", a stone sculpture, dimensions 25.5x22x20 cm from 2024 and
Stefana Jovanović, printmaker from Novi Sad, Serbia, for the artwork "Phases", a print made with the algraphy technique, dimensions 70x52 cm from 2022.
Once again, we congratulate the awardees and invite everyone interested to visit the Seventh Art Encounters exhibition at the Cultural Center House of King Peter I at Vase Pelagića 40 in Belgrade. The exhibition is open until November 11, 2025, and the opening hours of the House are every weekday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Entrance is free. Welcome!
