Pregnancy can be one of the most connected seasons of a woman's life, and also one of the loneliest.

Davana is bringing a Village Prenatal Circle to Awake, a gathering space for expecting mothers to sit together, ask the questions that are hard to ask alone, and be met by other women in the same season. Community, held gently, with room for whatever comes up.

Awake is a community space in Uvita with a weekly rhythm of movement, music, and connection.

This Sunday, GAIYATRA returns to the Shala!!

If you've danced with GaiYatra at Awake before, you already know. If you haven't... this is your invitation.

He brings a dance floor that MOVES. Deep grooves, tribal rhythms, unexpected turns, moments of pure celebration, and those stretches where the whole room seems to lock into the same pulse.

Come sweat. Come play. Come celebrate! Come disappear into the music for a couple hours.

Later this month, Isamar is holding space for Holotropic Breathwork, one of the more intensive offerings on the Awake calendar.

Conscious breathing, vocal expression, and movement, guided toward a state where old, stored emotion can finally move through and out. It's not a gentle Sunday practice. It asks something of you, and for the people who are ready for it, it tends to give back in equal measure.

Spots are limited to 12 so the container stays personal. RSVP is required, along with a quick read of the contraindications on the event page before reserving.

Awake offers a weekly calendar of classes, workshops, and gatherings designed to bring people together.

Tuesdays are for the little ones! Dayna brings the crew together every Tuesday from 9am–1pm for a morning of play, connection, and fun. All kids welcome!

Cora Café is now serving up fresh coconut water, cold-pressed juices, cacao, matcha, smoothies & smoothie bowls, Monday–Friday from 8–11am. Come say hi (and come hungry).

Ecstatic Dance Church
Another Sunday, another beautiful journey. This time with Bunny Wabbit taking us through some seriously good beats.

Contact Improv
Every Sunday, 9:30–10:30am with Forrest. A playful way to wake up, connect, and drop into the body before Ecstatic Dance.

We’re looking for a warm, proactive, hospitality-driven person to join the Awake team full-time in Uvita.

This is a people-facing role at the heart of the Awake experience, welcoming guests, retreat facilitators, event participants and visitors, and helping everything flow smoothly from the moment they arrive.

You’ll support guest arrivals, retreats and events, coordinate across our teams, respond to guest needs, and help create the warm, thoughtful experience we want everyone to feel at Awake.

Möva Lab: Our Subtle Strength with Yulama spends three hours exploring the kind of power that doesn't come from effort, the subtle strength underneath tension, old patterns, and the stories our bodies have been carrying without us noticing.
